What you look for when buying something

When your buying a product, what things do you look for when choosing whether or not to buy the product?

My site is asking these questions, and it is rated from 0(No/Bad) - 5(Yes/Good), and here are my current questions:

- Quality

- Is it worth the price?

- Price Value

- Would you recommend this to someone else?

- Overall Value

What would you change and/or add to the above 5 questions?

Rating those is a tough call.  The basic buying premise would be something like "Does this do the job I need done at a price I'm willing to pay?".  That's probably something along the lines of value for money.  A Rolls-Royce is high quality, worth the price, something I'd recommend to someone else ... and something I'd never buy because a 5-year old Chev gets me to work and play adequately.

I usually do my own side-research when making a big purchase, such as product reviews in magazines, forum posts, etc.

However, for most other things, I love neweggs system, especially if I'm juggling between a couple of similar items.

Wouldn't it be a little difficult to say whether it is worth the price and if you would recommend it to someone else before you have tried it?

My site will have reviews of products by people who already have the product, so they put what they think of the product for others who are looking to get the product. Basically people who don't have the product don't write a review of the product.
