Really confused Help me out.

I used following script to retrieve data from databases of phpbb forum with the link. The following script works fine in my wamp server installed in my computer but in remote server error message is displayed"

Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/microb/public_html/trials.php on line 4

"

 

I have used follwing script.(in config.php I have put the required info for dtabase connection and it works.)

U must have a problem in the query, probably awrong table name or column. Try echoing $result if u pass the values and be sure to have the right names for table and columns.

There's no difference at all and that will not correct the problem. Also the "SELECT  * FROM" in the while makes no sense.

Try this and see if any errors come up, and if they help:

$sql = "select * from phpbb_topics WHERE forum_id = 12 ORDER BY topic_id ASC LIMIT 0,10";
$result = mysql_query($sql) OR die(mysql_error().' SQL: '.$sql);
while($r=mysql_fetch_array($result))

I tried the help above but no positive result. Why does my script work in my wamp server but not in  remote server?
