Drummer101 there is no need to post that sort of comment here. You see he did apologise about posting in the wrong forum because maybe he didnt know were to post. We all here at PHPFreaks are here to help.

Hi asmith.

Basically when you get your domain and web details you will get a username and a password

Have you only bought a domain? Or have you got web-hosting aswell? And if so does the web-hosting point to the domain?...

ftp://dataflame.co.uk

Username:

Password:

You can also download programs such as CuteFTP and SmartFTP to upload files there aswell.

Please post again if you need anymore help.

Cheers

Dane

thanks dane .

i have an account there  , when i opened the account they sent me a welcome letter , in that letter is my "account" username and password ,

when i purchased the domain and the web hosting , they just sent the purchased confirmation , no password or such things.

in the site members area under the domain i have bought , i click on the view details about when expire and so on...

there is 2 fields under "nameserver" .  i have no idea what is the name server, and there's an addresss written in them , i don't know what are they ?

should i download the cuteftp on the web ?  i havent' find it on this site yet !
