Instaled lamp and server wont show images

I installed apache + php 4 + mysql on my asus eee (linux) and i uploaded my site there, when entering any page, html or php images wont show and if i point directly from the address bar it returns me the path of the image insteed of the images.

help is appreciated.

Are you still using the default Xandros on the Eee or have you started running the eeeXubuntu on it (like myself) ?

thx for the answer... But i finaly decided in instaling windows since i could not conect to my campus wifi because of a linux wifi issue. There i got xamp or something like that that is a one step lamp install and it works exelent...

Again, thanx for taking the trouble of reppling

it wasnt the lamp o wamp issue that annoyed me, it was the fact i could not use wifi in my univercity because when multiple access points collide linux cant realy conect and because of that i decided to install windows... Anyway it took like a week to someone to respond and i didnt goelt any know how to fix that issue. Later on i supose im going to get a server at home and i will probably use lamp since i want to experience a bit with linux
