  1. this is a upgrade! I already have a power supply, drives, hard drive, etc..
  2. Duh... well, isn't it pretty stupid ordering for less than the shipping costs? Buy in larger quantities or, if it's for so low value, go buy it in a nearby store. If you lived where I lived, then you cannot find any parts in a nearby store anymore.
  3. I hate new egg, I bout some fan grills for $3 dollars total, and the shipping was $7. I love AMD over intel any day. I will NEVER goto intel ever. All I asked was what do you think about the hardware setup, not the price, or the place. I love amazon, I get great discounts, and cheap shipping.
  4. I have a budget of $300.00, so I looked at amazon, and I found: Motherboard (which is like my current one, but this one is socket AM2, and DDR2): Mobo - Amazon Processor: Processor - Amazon or Processor 2 - Amazon RAM: RAM - Amazon On Ram, I think I want 4gb. I am not sure on the differences on the processor beside on is in the black edition, and the speed. Could someone explain the difference, I am leaning more on the 3Ghz. Good Setup?
  5. Did we just become best friends? I love all them except marylin manson. System of a Down has been a real favorite of mine, Serj solo is pretty good, and Scars on Broadway is alright. I am actually wearing a SOAD shirt right now. I also own all their albums, I just really like them.

LMAO, me and my friends went out today, and one of them was looking for a costume, and I suggested to get the one night stand, and he did. Point of the story, look at number 4!

Well... It has a Halloween costume now: The Monopoly Guy Don't Click the Monopoly Guy!
  10. What? No more than current bandwidth costs. I imagine different companies will offer their own services and lists of programs and features. You wouldn't really do anything as far as installing new stuff. You just login and go about your business on their server(s). Goal will ultimately be for the user to not have to install or maintain anything whatsoever. That would suck! No more pirating software
  11. Ya, do I have to have multiple users for multiple computers? (Samba) also: http://www.phpclasses.org/browse/file/5788.html

  16. No I have no clue if it is, but in Linux, when I want to get on my network drives, I can type in smb://servername/path
  17. I use to do some graphic work, but decided I am much better with coding, and my coding still has tons of room for improvements. Most of my graphics came from tutorials.

I see you have PS open, so it makes me wonder if you created that background. Did you create that background?
  20. Although, there aren't many people out there trying to code linux viruses. Really? Did you read my post? I am saying there are hardly any viruses for Linux because it is not popular and not a lot of peeps use, and the peeps who do, are some what computer savvy. Why write a virus for a unpopular o\s when hardly anyone uses it? lol, oh sorry. I wasn't saying anything different than what you said. The although was aimed at my own statement. ???
  21. I did click on the link, I found this: http://www.devwebsites.com/forums/install/index.php?$_SESSION[%27current_step%27] that seems insecure. Also, logo needs work
  22. Samba protocol = smb://

  24. Crayon Violent is right. I have thought about this for a long time. If Linux was as popular as windows, then you would complain that Linux is more insecure, because viruses are ment to target the popular os. I do think Linux is more stable, and requires less hardware than Windows, but I sill have to Windows, and because of its popularity, I have to use programs only written for Windows.
  25. My vmware install has a virus. Dude I swear that I know how to use a windows computer, but somehow they still get me. If you are going to run Windows, you must have a anti-virus installed. When I first boot up after a clean install, I always install Norton's.
