ober Posted June 16, 2008 Share Posted June 16, 2008 Awful. It's extremely dark and then you have tiny little white boxes on random parts (login/register for example. Also, your background (outside the content area) is not a consistent color on all pages. The graphics are extremely basic and the site is very slow in general. Its still very early to judge its features (as there isnt any), but smth badly started, will surely end off badly. Redesign the site to a more friendly look, throw some features and content and then im sure ull have some constructive critiques here. DMComics Posted July 2, 2008 Share Posted July 2, 2008 I agree with the above. Why so dark? I favour white backgrounds. You need to remember not everybody has such good eye site as your's, and therefore struggle to read text on certain coloured backgrounds. - Black text on a white background is seen by more people than dark one's. Resulting in your website being more accessible, and therefore receiving more traffic. I also noticed that you use a heavy amount of images on your site (this is not good, especially for navigation) most modern browsers provide the user with options to load pages without images, CSS, etc. Is your site still navigable with images turned off? - No it's not. Your sites navigation disappears, due to you relying on images. - Resulting in the user being stranded on the current page. For starters, this can be prevented, by using "alt" text. jcombs_31 Posted July 8, 2008 Share Posted July 8, 2008 Whys is it that when I click top uploaders I get an array? The colors and overall appearance of the site is pretty bad. You certainly don't need the 'logo' or name to be so ridiculously large. You have serious padding, alignment and overall spacing problems in your content area.
