TheFilmGod
I have some good news to table lovers, and some bad news to CSS gurus. Tables are the only viable way to code html email messages. CSS is poorly supported. For instance, css positioning is not supported, with Yahoo! mail as the only exception. To make things worse, Gmail hates css in all shapes and form. It takes the <style> tags and devours it. Literally deletes all content within those tags. This may have changed very recently, but that's what many articles say. The only css you can use is to style basic fonts, but that's only for risk takers... since CSS is poorly supported. Sucks, doesn't it? ??? neylitalo
This should be a non-issue. HTML email is an abomination and should never be used. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/112398-good-news-to-table-lovers/#findComment-577049 Share on other sites
corbin
Isn't this old news? Very old news? I remember hearing a rant about that like 3 years ago.
