i have no freaking clue what forum to put this in, so i figured i'd try here. my website is read by search engines as http://hypboard.com/thehyp/index.php but what i want is for it to be read as http://thehyp.net

my web host said this:

Sorry about the wait. The setup in our billing showed that hypboard.com was

the main domain, but in the WHM thehyp.net showed as the main domain, so I was

concerned that it was something in the setup, but it seems that you just need

to set up a robots.txt file to tell search engines how they are allowed to

index your site. http://www.robotstxt.org/ has information on what the files

are and how to use them.

i went through the how to, but don't understand how i'd make the robots change what they report
