I got a new website to update, but I'm seeing that the pages were built with php, and I am only familiar with html. the question is, how can I update the website using dreamweaver? i tried with some minor changes, in the text only, and when i did the preview, everything was a mess. i appreciate any help. thanx. Maq Posted April 7, 2009 Share Posted April 7, 2009 We can't really help. You may have to learn PHP. Dreamweaver does provide a WYSIWYG but I'd advise against it, as it produces horrendous code. I don't think you can even use it with code that's been made without it, but I'm not sure, I've never used Dreamweaver, and probably never will. larissahn Posted April 8, 2009 Author Share Posted April 8, 2009 i found out that i could make the changes directly in dreamweaver. like u said, changes to the text are about html, not php. i wanted to know how to preview the page and somebody suggested installing WampServer 2. i'm working on that. can u tell me how to delete an option from a menu? that is php, right?
