ober
So FCKeditor got upgraded to "CKeditor 3.0". Great... no built-in file browser but they're pushing CKFinder... which has a steep license fee. Anyone know of a decent web file browser/managers that can be integrated with other rich editors? zq29
Oh really? I didn't notice that - I've integrated 3.0 for the first time on Friday into a new project but haven't actually tested it yet. This might be a deal breaker, unless the license fee is an unlimited use one, not a per-website one... codetoon
I have written a nice tutorial on my blog about integrating the FCKEditor's filebrowser into CKEditor. This can be a quick and free option to get Filebrowser working in CKEditor. Corporate Web Sites Licenses CKEditor to be used inside pages of all web sites owned or produced by your company. Price: US $850 Mmmm, that is steep indeed. grzes124
You can also try free PGRFileManager http://pgrfilemanager.sourceforge.net/. It works fine with CKEditor. Jiv-Jolan
I use Roxy Fileman file manager, which is absolutely free and actively developing. It's ready for use with CKEditor and TinyMCE - versions 3.x and 4.x.
