Hi everyone,

I am very new to php.  Please help!  I have been searching the web for days now looking for the anwer.  I am getting this message: MM_XSLTransform error

I am using

php 5.3.1.

Apache/2.2.14 (Unix)

Dreamweaver cs3

mac os x 10.6.3

yahoo webhosting.

I am using lynda.com video tutorials to learn this and have copied this exercise file to my server to ensure that all code is correct (instead of my own that could possibly have a typo or something stupid)

here is the phpinfo.php - it looks like everything i need is enable but is php 4.11

(i know i am not supposed to display this info but am frustrated and dont know what to do or how to move on from this seeming easy basic task.)

K that sounds like something I did during the configurations for the test server.  I was under the impression that all of those configs were for the test server on my machine and had nothing to do with the hosting server. I don't think I am able to modify the php config files used by yahoo so I dont know how I would turn the error reporting off.  Of course after scheduling a call from yahoo and waiting 161 minutes for them to call me the call ended while I was on hold before speaking to anyone so I don't even know if Yahoo supports php5 or how to find out.  As for invalid xml it seems unlikely to me since I copied it directly from a Lynda.com exercise file to ensure there were none of my own errors causing the problem.

is there anyone out there available to chat for a few minutes to answer some basic questions? please I am going out of my mind and just want to get started writing the code I have been studying for months but need to resolve my compatibility/configuration issues.

This thread is more than a year old. Please don't revive it unless you have something important to add.
