TomTees
I am constantly getting "404 File Not Found" and a blank page when I go to PHPFreaks and/or try to access my posts. Time to buy more/faster webservers or something?! (It's not my computer or connection because your website is the only one with this issue, which has existed for over two weeks.) trq
Time to buy more/faster webservers or something?! With what? Are you offering? What url are you attempting to access, a 404 indicates file not found. We have been having some issues with our DB, but you will get an appropriate error message. TomTees
Time to buy more/faster webservers or something?! With what? Are you offering? All that advertising $$$ you guys rake in... What url are you attempting to access, a 404 indicates file not found. We have been having some issues with our DB, but you will get an appropriate error message. It happens regularly when I go to: 1.) http://www.phpfreaks.com 2.) Click on a thread in the forums 3.) Try to check messages in my profile 4.) Making a post 5.) Anywhere I usually have to re-submit a page 5, 6, 7, 8 times and then it will usually work, but often I have to come back 30 minutes later. To the untrained eye, it looks like your entire website is down... I'm on here 70% of my day and its never as bad for me as you have described. I haven't seen any error message since Saturday for instance. On Saturday I restarted a few services and another Admin cleared some logs. We are keeping an eye on things. Thanks for the heads-up though. It doesn't happen everytime, but it happens enough to where I always copy my posts before trying to post lest I lose everything I just composed?! I post on other boards and send Gmail with no issues, so I figured I'd point it out. I'll have another look around this afternoon. Viper114
I get the same thing. Sometimes this site just stops responding altogether for several minutes. After several minutes it starts back up as normal. Daniel0
Sorry if you've been having trouble accessing the website. The server has had some hardware problems. It should be alright now, but if the issues persist we might have to move it to another machine. Again, sorry for the inconvenience. Not Found The requested URL /forums/index.php was not found on this server. Apache/2.2.3 (CentOS) Server at www.phpfreaks.com Port 80 This is still afirly common when going to PHP Freaks.
