tibberous
I'm not sure what is wrong with me, but lately all I do is go to the bar, go eat, watch porn, shower, take a nap, play Starcraft or watch Starcraft videos / facebook / college humor. I have so much shit to get done, but I just can't focus on work. It's almost like the time I spend playing Starcraft has replaced the time I used to spend working, but I don't know what to do about it. I've tried uninstalling the game, but a couple days later I'll reinstall it - it's like I need rehab or something. I wish I never got into it, but I'm not sure what to do now. Adam
Start doing exercise a couple of times a week. Once you get into that routine you'll start feeling more motivated, and ultimately find it easier to discipline yourself when it comes to work. zq29
You could combine the more exercise idea with your porn watching, too. Two birds with one stone.
JonnoTheDev
You could combine the more exercise idea with your porn watching, too. Two birds with one stone. LOL. What I would do is, use what you want to do as a reward for getting the important stuff done. So, if you have work that needs to be done, say to yourself, "once I have done this, I can play computer games, or go for a beer". Once you get into the work you should start to focus on what you are doing. If you start playing computer games or watching TV you become lackadaisical and will find it very difficult to turn to something else. Stooney
Get laid (seriously). Women can be quite motivating in life. Also, take your laptop out somewhere public and work there (Starbucks or any other cafe with internet). As for the Starcraft addiction, that's fine. Not everyone has a hobby they truly enjoy and can spend hours doing.
