Spring
Ah I thought adding BBC to the forum profile page (At least the first four bold, italic, underline strike) would make things easier for people. Though it's not like it's super important or anything, just a suggestion. I was able to find the following mod. http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=
Philip
I thought this was already in place with the core files? Or are we getting what the "profile page" is mixed up?

Pikachu2000
You can already use some of the BBC tags on your signature. Beyond that, I think it would be nothing but an annoyance.
Philip
Given that you've been using bold and a quote tag in your signature all along, I'd say yes you can use some bbcodes there
Spring
Yes i can! Bit I simply mean showing the BBC, I had to manually type the BBC. I had no idea it was going to work until I tired it. Maybe at least add a confirmation saying that BBC is allowed in the profile signature? My apologies for confusing anyone.

Zane
I agree with Pikachu, it would just be an annoyance. Besides, the point of these forums is to teach programming, including code syntax. If you're too lazy, or too incapable, to type the BBC codes, then you obviously need more programming practice.

You had to manually type something and then test it to see if it would work?!?!? I had no idea the problem was as bad as all that. Certainly, immediate action should be taken to remedy the situation as swiftly as possible, and to ensure that no future user ever be forced to endure the harrowing ordeal you've been through. Please accept our heartfelt apologies for your pain and suffering!

Please accept our heartfelt apologies for your pain and suffering! My God! You would only have to output a string of text letting the users know BCC is enabled! I had no idea this would be so difficult!! I surely will think of how much time and sweat such an enormous task such as this will take before suggesting something so ludicrous! Please, the apologizes are mine, and mine alone!! Yes i can! Bit I simply mean showing the BBC, I had to manually type the BBC. I had no idea it was going to work until I tired it. It would just make the forums more user friendly. whyyougottabeadick?
