Wampserver, starting PHP in my desktop

Recommended Posts

In windows it's not as easy as linux - Linux supports hardlink's.  It depends on the software you have installed, I have only used XAMPP on widows computers, nothing else.  Check through the documentation for the software and it should explain how and where to setup the web folders

How to I setup C:\myfolder\ as a web served directory, or how to include it in  webserver's served directories  ?

Use "Alias Directive" under Apache. It allows documents to be stored in the local filesystem other than under the DocumentRoot folder.

Never tested on windows machines!

To obtain more information, check at docs of apache web site.
