Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_LNUMBER

Let me begin by saying that I know pretty much nothing about PHP, and was just attempting to swap image sliders on my homepage as one was conflicting with a required plugin. I'm getting this error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_LNUMBER in /home2/cgobr/public_html/wp-content/themes/coin/page-home.php on line 17

Can somebody please tell me where the coding is wrong. I mean, I'm not retarded, I know css, I know html, just not php stuff. Please please please help!!! Below is the code:

That's just the thing, I know absolutely nothing about this coding. I just have enough knowledge to know it's a coding issue. It would mean the world to me if somebody could identify where the coding is flawed? Please please please!

That's strange. I copied that coding directly from the php file. From what I see, everything looks exactly the same from my end. It just looks like for some reason, the coding started at line 17.

I have explained to you, that is all of the coding. Line 1 begins with <? php. The line that WAS giving me problems was 17. I found though that it was a plugin conflict. The slider is displaying as long as i have the plugin conflicting with it disabled. That sucks.
