benanamen
I personally find the allotted time to be able to edit your post too short. Numerous times I have re-read my post and noticed some typo or something that needed changed and can no longer edit my post. Just how long is the current allowed time and can someone increase it another minute or two? Barand
This may seem an outrageous suggestion but one could always preview and check for typos before hitting the button Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/301059-post-edit-time/#findComment-1532298 Share on other sites
requinix
The window is 15 minutes. The idea is to have a long enough window for people to correct accidental mistakes, but short enough that someone can't go in and change the content of their post after people have read and possibly replied to it. benanamen
15 minutes is plenty. My time is either not 15 or I get into an accelerated time warp where 15 minutes seems like 5. requinix
Honestly, it's felt like that sometimes to me too. It's possible there's a problem somewhere but the configuration definitely says 15 minutes. At least where I saw - maybe there's an override somewhere I don't know about?
