ridiculous
Does anyone know of a VOIP softphone that can be embedded into a page and then dial into a gateway like skype or voipbuster?

Jessica
You have very little patience. I don't see anything on this post related to PHP. Did you google it? I found several results.

ridiculous
The reason I didn't initially include "PHP" in the subject line was because I am open to other methods of embedding a softphone. I know most of you are multilingual and was hoping someone could suggest a possible Actionscript, Perl, or Python workaround if not PHP. We're all looking to deliver CONTENT on our sites, and I hope we can be open to the possibility of using means other than PHP when PHP doesn't support our end. Thanks. And, if anyone has found embeddable softfones that link into a gateway like Skype, I'd love to see the link. Please.
mattd8752
I've never heard of this, however I have heard of running executables from websites. This is very difficult and requires special programs to "convert" the program into one that can be loaded into a web browser. Also it can only load 1 file, for example if there are files in addition to voip.exe or whatever then you couldn't put it into a webfile, however, you could code one yourself in C/C++. genericnumber1
You might want to look into java applets, and as has been stated: google is your friend. Good luck, and please dont post "Thanks. Helpful. Recommended!" it makes you seem sarcastic and rude.
ridiculous
There's a company called five9 (www.five9.com) that writes predictive dialers that then link into VOIPS. What I was hoping to accomplish was a predictive dialer that links into a SKYPE, or atleast a web dialer embeds the interface into an object and then sends the dialing information back into a server. I was thinking I might find a softfone API that I could link PHP into from a database and auto populate. I guess this may be sort of a niche area, but I was thinking it was probable that someone here may have developed a similar product.
