This is web page information capturing engine. It can take a picture of a web page, it also has full indexing abilities. It can index key words, CSS files, JavaScript files, all images, Flash and Java. It can also spell check any document. It contains a web service front end and a back end that can be used as a crawling indexer for a (kid safe) search engine or link directory. The web service also includes a dynamic cropping tool that allows you to make cutouts from your captured web page image. The C++ converted to PHP (5) code is freely available by sending me a PM requesting a copy.

The spell checker is not active in the demo, if you want to try it with the spell checker, just post the request and I will turn it on!

Note:

Select PNG image type for the capture, to get all the available cropping options to show up.

This is on one of my notebooks, as my DNS is being updated at the present time, I will change the link when the DNS is globally updated.

This is beta software so if you get a copy, please email me for help, don't PM me here for help, only to request a copy.

Wow. This looks like some revolutionary stuff here. Only problem I had was that the security word was a little hard to make out. Not sure what font you used, but you may want to make sure that you're using one that's clear about the differences between lowercase L, uppercase I, and the number one. I typed a lowercase L when I thought it was, but it told me I was wrong.

Cool stuff! I just tried it with my site, which I'm about to post here for advice... It worked a little too good. I wanted to get a screen shot of my website old, who's DNS I JUST changed about 10 minutes ago, and YOUR site brings up a screen shot of my NEW site that I can't even view yet without your websites help.

Perhaps your website is closer to whatever system DNS use for .com's? I don't know, but it seems like it may serve an unexpected dual purpose, "view your site before the DNS propagates to you!"

Either way, it's cool :)
