I've decided to broaden my horizon and look into Java.

I know there are some Java develops roaming these board. You guys have any suggestions?

Basically I'm  looking for two things:

1. Basic syntax, langague constucts and principles for cross-over developers.

2. Complex development guidelines and examples.

I am trying to learn Java as well, for that I find this quite good:

Thanks, I guess. I was really looking for something to add to my bookshelf though. Hence the word 'book' in the thread title.  ::)

Yeah, I know it isn't exactly a book (at least not a printed one). The contents of it is quite good nevertheless.

This thread is more than a year old. Please don't revive it unless you have something important to add.
