play_
Which is a light shade of grey, doesn't work anymore. Anyone else or just me? Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/54848-the-color-eeeeee/ Share on other sites
dbrimlow
I find it depends on the monitor. LCDs at high resolution don't show it, but it still shows on CRTs. AndyB
I find it depends on the monitor. LCDs at high resolution don't show it, but it still shows on CRTs. ... or your html coding is wrong Check that simply by changing to a very visible colour (and remember to change it back). dbrimlow
LOL! Yeah, good advice. Always make sure it isn't something you've done, first! I can't tell you the number of frustrating hours I've spent debugging only to find that I had 5 instead of six characters or forgot a semi-colon. But, in this case, I'm sure your code is right; #EEEEEE simply doesn't show on hig-res LCDs. ToonMariner
maybe if you alter the angle you are looking at the screen you will see it - a wonderful optical effect of lcd screens. play_
But i've used this color many times before on this monitor. i just started making something from scratch, but the color isn't showing so im gonna have to agree with dbrimlow I also have a dual monitor setup. and the second monitor is a 15". it's weird, i put background-color: #000000; and the div shows black. i change #000000 to #EEEEEE and nothing shows on the screen =/ Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/54848-the-color-eeeeee/#findComment-272092 Share on other sites

jcombs_31
I sometimes have trouble seeing the color on certain LCDs, but is not ALWAYS the case as dbrimlow seemed to imply.
