phpfreak
Ok here's the scoop. We're stuck with the Kontera Ads (inter-text ads that everyone apparently hates for slowing down their browsing) for a few more months. We need to start generating clicks on these so that we can fulfill our contract and move on to something else. So, if you're sick of them, the sooner we fulfill our clicks, the sooner they can go away.At the rate we're going, it will be another 4 - 6 months because the CPC (Cost Per click) is extremely low on Kontera Ads and quite frankly, I'm not happy with the results we've seen. We've basically sold our souls to the devil and now we're hoping to get it back with some support from our community. AndyB
Are the Kontera ads the ones associated with the double underlined links? Are those what you would like to get more action on? alpine
puh... boy am i glad for this thread, yes yes yes : click click click - i assume it's the text-links appearing all over the place, least thats what seams to be slowing things up. A real pain. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/9633-inter-text-advertisement-please-read/#findComment-35648 Share on other sites
phpfreak
Yes, its the double underline links inside the main body of the forums. Please don't abuse it though. Just be responsible. They can detect if you are "spam clicking" like a whole bunch of clicks in a row.Regards, Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/9633-inter-text-advertisement-please-read/#findComment-36029 Share on other sites

.josh
actually it's a single lined linkie until you hover over it then it turns into a double lined linkie and a little popup caption ad pops up. they are based on keywords throughout.. well, i've seen them virtually everywhere, sprinkled throughout posts. for instance, in your own post the word "firefox" was turned into an ad for me (i clicked it, btw [img src=\"style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/smile.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"smile.gif\" /] ) Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/9633-inter-text-advertisement-please-read/#findComment-36807 Share on other sites
