That's a nice list! We should start one of these threads... -
If you are getting clicks from places other than you targeted, I'd start with that first personally. Are you seeing that from FB Insights or GA?
-
TBH, I'm not sure what the SiNaN mod does differently than the one we brewed up (in fact SMF got their panties in a wad when we tried to submit ours a long time ago.) However, we pretty much just check against the post information in a loop within the template and add a CSS class if it is solved.
-
What do you consider as a fraudulent click?
-
Soooo.... you answered your own question then, no? Take a look into scopes. In this case, no. Again, take a look at scopes. It is a regular variable... within the function's scope. PS - Trying and fiddling with things like this is a great way to learn it. Do you have a local sandbox to test stuff like this in?

Usually a couple of days

Mr. DavidAM, enjoy your shiny new green badge! You've earned it
-
Yeah, we had discussed something like that, and tbh it is still on the table. The only reason we haven't implemented it yet is because 99% of the copy to clipboard scripts use flash in order to copy it.
-
I'm going to end this thread before we digress anymore. The original post has been solved thus we are now going off-topic. PS - I'd really love to meet some of the gurus you know someday.

Set your account to no password in the sudo file would be the easiest (and laziest) fix.
-
@xyph - Mainly to make sure that we didn't miss anything (odd URLs, redirect stops working, etc.) So far it seems okay @Maq - thanks, I also love minimalistic designs and we plan to keep it that
-
Man, this is spot on
-
Now with even shorter slugs (5 chars) due to popular request
-
Hey guys - awjudd and I finished up round one of our URL shortener and are looking for feedback / testers. Right now it is pretty basic, but that's pretty much the goal for the site: minimalistic. The site: lnked.me Current features: Shortens URLs! Upcoming features: User accounts (view your previous shortened URLs) API for widgets / browser extensions Analytics on your URLs (how many people viewed, where are they from, etc.)

Vista and above has the built-in snipping tool which is very handy.

In almost every case I've seen, the company has owned the patent/copyright/etc. For new hires, there is almost always a clause saying "we own everything you do while you work for us if it is even remotely relevant to the company" - which sucks sometimes Given that he was a former owner though, I'm sure something would be worked out. -
