Ok, so I installed Ubuntu 8, and I installed L.A.M.P., using this tutorial: http://www.howtoforge.com/ubuntu_lamp_for_newbies
What my problem is, I wanna edit the files that are the WWW folder, but I get an error message that tells me I do not have the permissions to do that. I am the system admin, so how do I do it?
-Thanks Guys!

what are you trying to do here:
<?php $approved = ($row["approve"] == 1); $unaproved = ($row["approve"] == 0); ?>

I love mine! This is just my center screen (dell 3007 @ 2560x1600)

My other displays run the background grey to dark-grey gradient, so nothing interesting on them.
What O\S are you tunning? I would assume one of Apple's!
Vista Sucks, why am I the only one running XP?

Taco Bell FTW!

lol mine is messy!
-
ya its perfect

I have seen some scripts that do what you are talking about, but it was a mimic of myspace, for $400. I would thing around $400-$600 on your script!

It must be inexperience, but every time I install windows, then setup a dual boot with Ubuntu, my windows partition becomes corrupt. Or vise versa.
I have even followed tutorials or blogs on this subject and nothing worked. Then I found this, randomly, I was not even looking for it.
Anyways, I love it!

I love looking at other's desktops! I have no idea why!
Here are mine:
Windows Jpeg: http://uploads.lamezz.com/ss.JPG
Windows Bmp: http://uploads.lamezz.com/ss.bmp
Ubuntu Png: http://uploads.lamezz.com/ss.png
Post Yours!

Ya its really neat!

I would center the whole thing.
I do not like the background on the logo.
Over it is an O.K design

No, nothing like VMWare! It does the duel boot for you! All you do is start it, select how much disk space, login info, and desktop environments. Then it downloads the environment you chose, then it installs it, on the same disk, no new partitions. Then it ask you to reboot, it install the rest of Linux, then you login!
I love it
IT DOES NOT OVERWRITE YOUR WINDOWS INSTALLATION! IT SETS UP A DUAL BOOT!

It worked! I am using ubuntu right now
