Main site bug reporting

dunno if its a bug or anything but when there is a diggit logo there is a --> that follows see the bottom of the page here : http://www.phpfreaks.com/blog/the-creation-of-the-new-site

When I login to the main site, I have to login to the forums also.

 

Is this working as designed?

not a bug, but more a readability issue - i'd like to see the figures thrown through 'number_format' or whatever to drop some comma-seperators in there. eg "553,589 forum posts" instead of "553589 forum posts", etc.

additionally, the http://www.phpfreaks.com/blogs page seems to lose the author's "real" name underneath the subject. ie, Daniel Egeberg instead of Daniel0 (if specified in the user's profile)

That's because the original #2 from the sticky was actually an exception to rule #1, which basically said you could have a small, unobtrusive ad to your site in your sig.  I guess Daniel had some c/p issues or somethin'.

I see this in Firefox 3 RC 1, Gentoo Linux at 1400x1050. Note the search button and the box.

Yeah, Tom told me that his search bar was misplaced on Linux as well. Only his was positioned differently than yours...

It doesn't. You have to install a package called microsoft base fonts or something.

If I go to the main phpfreaks.com page, login, navigate to the forums, and then click the header image link to navigate back to the main phpfreaks.com page, the page doesn't seem to know that I am logged in. It says "username" and shows "*****" in the un/pw fields. It shows my username in the forums if I go back to the forums again. Just when I go to the main site home page, it can't tell. I thought I remembered someone saying that they were using a single login system now, so to me that seems out of wrong/bad/something.

 

Hope that makes sense.

That's strange. Does anyone else have that problem? It works for me.
