revraz
Yahoo Instant Messenger Icon is missing on the left side. So the ALT bleeds over into the message/post.
Daniel0
Works for me.
revraz
Is the icon local to this site or coming from Yahoo? Also, may want to consider shortening the ALT length, since if it doesn't show, it bleeds into the message box.
Daniel0
It's hosted at Yahoo so we cannot do anything it if it is missing. I've never experienced that though.
revraz
I'm betting my work blocks it. But the text is Yahoo Instant Messenger - xxxxxx@yahoo.com And it's about that long, depending on their yahoo ID. So just letting you know. Orio
Too bad in this version SMF dropped the bread crumb navigation from the bottom of the pages. It was always both at the top and the bottom of thread/forums. Quite useful after finishing reading a thread, instead of scrolling all the way back to the top. But I guess I am just lazy Gone again... ??? Have you restored or upgraded again the software? Orio.

No. It was something we added, but it caused double breadcrumbs other places so it got removed again.
Daniel0
Not exactly related to the 2.0 upgrade, but I didn't want to create a new topic just for this. We've added a new bbcode tag which serves as a shortcut for PHP manual pages: [m]sprintf[/m] => sprintf
JasonLewis
That's awesome, saves typing the old url tag, although I probably still will due to it being a habit. I might try it out... explode

We've added a new bbcode tag which serves as a shortcut for PHP manual pages: [m]sprintf[/m] => sprintf That's a great idea, saves me so much time. More than half of my posts involve linking to php.net!
GingerRobot
That's really useful, but does it have to enforce the parenthesis? Not everything i might link to is a a function - register_globals for example.
.josh
Yeah I don't really care for () enforcement either, but php.net seems to parse them the same, with or without, so I'm not complaining. Just glad to have a shorttag for it.
GingerRobot
The parenthesis aren't actually part of the link - just the text that's shown. But yeah - it's no big problem. It's a very useful tag.
Mchl
Now, if only php.net fixed it's redirects, so that mysqli_query is not redirected to mysql_query anymore... (same for other mysqli functions...).

(same for other mysqli functions...). apparently doing mysqli.query works.
Mchl
But doesn't look that good, does it? Better than nothing I suppose Disclaimer: This is not a complaint against phpfreaks, but php.net
wildteen88
You find this handy for understanding php.nets urls.
IchBin
You guys going to theme this forum or what?
JasonLewis
I don't think it needs a theme or themes. I'm used to the default though.
.josh
You guys going to theme this forum or what? Doubt it. I mean, the default already fits the color scheme of the logo and main site...
Maq
do u have a suggestion?
IchBin
I do agree, the colors look great in matching your site. Was just thinking to make the theme look more like your site, like the little headers for each block section, and the side borders etc on the frontpage. Maybe I'll whip something up on my test install of beta4 and show you guys how it would look.
