[SOLVED] "MESSAGES[1]", but no messages

In the top navigation it says I have a message, and there's nothing in my inbox.

 

It was working fine until the last message I had (don't remember the date), I deleted & purged it, but it still says I have 1 message.  Screen shot attached.

Oh and from SMF board (although a 1.x):

Go to admin control panel and click "forum maintenance"' date=' then "recount all forum totals and statistics" Give that a try first. Once in a while I get the same thing, and that always clears it for me.[/quote']

Yeah, more of a SMF bug though. See if one if the admins is willing to try the fix

After receiving another message and deleting it, the top message nav still indicated that I had [1] message, when in actuality it's empty.

 

Leave it, not that big of a deal, just thought you guys should know.  I will report this on the SMF forums if you'd like.
