deansatch
Any chance of a sticky or notice at the top of the page informing posters to include the dodgy code when they post? ignace
Please ask moderators directly. I even believe there is a forum to ask this sort of questions. trq
Mods and Admins can place many stickies all over the place but people still post questions without code, and posts within the wrong sections Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/170964-fao-forum-moderators/#findComment-901746 Share on other sites
zq29
In short, no. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/170964-fao-forum-moderators/#findComment-901777 Share on other sites
deansatch
In short, no. Awww! Go on! It would save 2 rows of your database on about 40% of the threads that are started. You could stick a little notice just above the textarea when they click on "new topic". You know it makes sense! Daniel0
I would say it's common sense. These kinds of people are not going to read stickies. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/170964-fao-forum-moderators/#findComment-901907 Share on other sites
Philip
Well, it's technically in the forum guidelines (#5) but you know how many people read that Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/170964-fao-forum-moderators/#findComment-902029 Share on other sites

Well, it's technically in the forum guidelines (#5) but you know how many people read that Exactly. In short, doing something like that is only preaching to the choir.
