ignace
Ok. Thanks. I didn't notice the link earlier, I'll take a look. Thanks again. One of many who barely can see the link. Is it possible to adjust the color to make it more noticeable? Regards Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/203369-reply-link-color/ Share on other sites
PFMaBiSmAd
That won't solve the problem of people using the 'Quote' link instead of the 'Reply' link. It would take moving the 'Quote' link out of their field of view (i.e. putting it into the menu bar after the 'Reply' button.) Mchl
It's not about 'reply' button (though this post's title made think so). If you go to the topic that quote in ignace's post originates from, you'll see it's about a link in the body of message. PFMaBiSmAd
jumped to a conclusion there. Changing the embedded hyper-link color won't help either, they will just think you highlighted some text when you wrote the post. Philip
Well, I do agree. It does blend in pretty well, I think underlining it or changing the color would help, if even just a little bit. I mean compare the two mail() calls I have in this mail filled sentence. Even doing something like mail from the original mail would help IMO. salathe
This was brought up a while back with various solutions proposed; nothing got done about it. Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/203369-reply-link-color/#findComment-1065586 Share on other sites
ignace
My suggestion would be to just add (at the minimum) an underline to it maybe even a background-color? trq
Ive gone and made the links what I would consider to be brighter. If its not enough, or you think we should move to underlined (would rather not) let me know. Zane
make them explosive orange.. and have badgers scroll up the page on rollover. Also.. the text should be upside down..with a black baground. Daniel0
I think underlined would be best. Underlining links is a convention. Everybody will understand what it means. Yeah, I thought that too but it takes away a little when you are using the [m][/m] tag on a function with underscores in its name. ignace
Ive gone and made the links what I would consider to be brighter. I noticed it they came out clearer. But like Daniel already said underlined text is the best as it's a convention and everyone will understand what is going on. ignace
but it takes away a little when you are using the [m][/m] tag on a function with underscores in its name. Use border-bottom instead of text-decoration and add some padding to it 1px or so. scept1c
I would prefer underlining to changing colours. And the issue with underscores is resolved easily as Ignace offered.
