Merely putting a name to something, or using a term to identify a collection, or lack thereof, does not invent it. Zero is an absense. You can't invest a lack of. You can cause a lack of, but it's like saying you inveted 1. 1 is a term or define a singular. You didn't invent singulars. Numbers aren't things you can invent, they're just terms and definitions. When you ask who invented the house, you aren't asking who invented the term house, that would be stupid, you're asking who invented what the term describes.
