Chrisj
I have this Contact Form, that I'm trying to add a captcha element to it. The captcha script html part is this: <td> Enter Image Text<input name="captcha" type="text"><img src="captcha.php" /> </td> And it looks like (see attached image) How can I style this, and also put some space between the text, the field box, and the numbers box, horizontally? I look forward to some suggestions. Much thanks. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/302413-how-to-style-a-single/ Share on other sites
benanamen
If you only need one space, use your spacebar. 1 Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/302413-how-to-style-a-single/#findComment-1538642 Share on other sites
cyberRobot
You could use the margin property in CSS. input { margin:0 5px; } 1 Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/302413-how-to-style-a-single/#findComment-1538648 Share on other sites
Stielle
HTML will automatically add a single space if you provide it. Any more than that it will ignore. If you want to add more than one space, simply add for each space you want. Ex: 3 spaces Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/302413-how-to-style-a-single/#findComment-1539433 Share on other sites
Jacques1
If you want to add more than one space, simply add for each space you want. Dont't do that. Instead of cluttering your markup with non-breaking spaces or hard line breaks, use CSS for styling (as already mentioned by cyberRobot). Stielle
My bad. I was only answering in pure HTML. I assumed no CSS answer since it was in the HTML forum. But agreed, I wouldn't use either and would prefer the CSS solution.
