hope it takes around 6 mths or so.......  ;)

why hope? having a high post count doesn't put you in a better position, but rather the quality of the posts. if most of your posts are regarding how to get more stars, then you're wasting your time. it's not McDonalds.

This is not about position...

First of all i want to say (as i am now a regular of this forum) and have seen many threads and posts...

[not much as you though]

[1] I don't count the stars, i see the answer(s) and check if it solved my problem or not.

[2] I don't think people here just post for the stars.

[3] People who have better knowledge in

<?php echo "TRUE"; ?>

can answer lot of questions (simple or complex) so it is sure they get higher post counts.

...cheers...

i'd like to think that if you're actually being helpful, it takes longer than 6 months to get there.  helpfulness is as much about conciseness as it is about technical knowledge.

i've been here some 3.5 years and am barely at 3000.  and i'd like to think that at the start, i was even quite wasteful with my posts.
