Anyone ever see these being sold? I can find DVD+R DL, DVD-R DL, and even DVD+RW 4.7Gb variety... but I need the DVD+RW 8.5Gb (Dual Layer) variety.
I can't seem to find anyone selling them. If all else fails I'll just buy a pack of DVD+Rs, but that sucks.

Alright, here's what I've figured out: It is apparently going to the right place, but if the page isn't fully loaded when it gets there, it might actually shift the screen slightly after it finishes loading.
Can I avoid that somehow?

We're not the only board that does this type of thing. It is unfortunate that we have to do this to our members, but it's either this or get flooded with spam from time to time.

version of what? the version of SMF is not that old and the main site code is removed. Not a bad idea on changing the db connection info, however. I'll talk to Eric about it.

Not sure if it will work, but you could have your very first row as 2 columns that use the "colspan=6" method and set the width of that. You can use a height on the row or the td elements to make it very short.
Just an idea.

This should move the user to a link on the page (model 10517). It works perfectly in FF or Opera but in IE it drops down to random places around the actual link. Any idea what I can do to get it to show up properly?

I'm not sure what is going on there but we'll look into it. The site will be back up as soon as we can rebuild it. Just be patient with us.

I'm interested in what vulnerabilities you've found. I have a site with static pages (with includes) and an SMF forum. I'm also about to develop a database driven site, with my own applications, along with an SMF forum. Willing to share any info?
I must be a pain in the ass though, no ads up. What are hackers doing attacking this site though? Do they think it's special because it on php? Why don't they attack something that needs a good bashing?
Long story short, it doesn't have anything to do with SMF. They hacked us through SQL injection via the main site.

Using the beta? It works fine in the latest 2.0 build.

Ron can install mods just like I can. The problem is keep up with all of that when we have to do an update.

Locking threads in this board means the discussion is over. Many people will suggest something and drone on about it like they can talk us into it. Often it's more efficient to close it and move on.
And experience in terms of running this board, providing options for a large community, etc, etc. Having dealt with online communities for the number of years that I have, I tend to get a feel for what is or is not going to work, and that goes for the rest of the staff as well.
