  1. I would go with the llast one. useing "1" doesnt tell search engines much.
  2. I disagree. just because old people are gonna look at it doesnt mean it should be boring (no offense). but it is really plain. I would make it a little more image heaving and use some wood textures to match the clock style. it can look very web 2.0 and still be pleasing to an elderly person. like this one http://templates.entheosweb.com/template_number/27348.asp (but get rid of the flash and sound) old people would love that! AND I LOVE OLD PEOPLE!
  3. doesnt look any different then the last 2 or 3 times you asked for a review
  4. red yellow green here as well. yellow seems more nuetral than blue too me. plus your rgb doesnt make a great color combo imo. red yellow green seems like a more viable color scheme
  5. never used it but here is one i found on hotscripts http://www.phpcredo.com/Software/ Or you can search for some more here http://www.hotscripts.com/category/php/scripts-programs/file-manipulation/download-systems/
  6. you sould post the code around that line as well if you want help. However i think this could be a little better if you used javascript. http://www.w3schools.com/js
  7. well, dont get a server within the us.... cause thats gonna be amazingly illegal. If your going to host the files just upload them to your site and put a link to them. If your going to do this though i would highly recommend just linking to the files on megaupload/rapidsearch. hosting them yourself is probably the quickest way to a lawsuit that i can think of.
  8. you sould allow users to add forum sites with brief descriptions and have a big list in addition to your forum reviews. that would be more like white pages
  9. I like it but, I would try and use the blue a little more. its almost like a newspaper with a blue trim. maybe like the step 1 step 2 step 3 in blue? just my opinion though
  10. gimp can do just about anything photoshop can.... just not many people can help you with it. look up tutorials for gimp
  11. i'd say this thred is starting to get pretty rude, i wont be posting in it anymore, i would suggest others do the same. Not really. Music Album's and HQ Movie streams buy? legal? Most users won't even know they are watching copyrighted material. I would say ignace has an opinion that should be honestly thought over. I dont think he was attacking or being rude. No need to call him a "dickhead". especially when he is trying to help.
  12. "WhiteShabu.com provides Music Album downloads and High Quality Movie streams via indexed hyperlink from various file and video hosting services." seems pretty clear to me, very first sentance
  13. I guess your just a little douche bag. no need to be mean. But the front page does clearly state what the site is about
  14. yea but ive seen sites that stream these with out divx web player... myabe im wrong. but your site asked me to install it when i went to try a movie. So that was enough to deter me, and i am probably not the only person detered by this.
  15. i would avoid having to make users install divx web player if at all possilbe. that program blows and installs annoying things (like symantec) on your computer. Other than that. looks good.
  16. i agree with this question. i would also like to know
  17. k, well i just reset my document root to be in app/webroot and it seems to be working pretty well. but im pretty sure thats the recommended for production not development. if anyone wants to explain how they setup their dev environment feel free.
  18. I'm just starting again on cakephp and maybe i've installed it wrong. the links to css i create arn't working. I am using wamp and have cakephp in the doc root (C:\wamp\www\). The html helper links to /css/my.css, and that turns up not found. Which makes sense to me. because the css pages are in /app/webroot/css/ I cant figure out whats goin on. the .htaccess files are there. Maybe i missed iditing some config file? I've tried searching google and other threads but too much bs comes up so i couldnt find anything. Thanks
  19. doesnt look good on a widescreen monitor. the banner and support and tos float away from middle
  20. im assuming that you used someone else's script to create this site. there is a forum to help with external scripts.
  21. its too hard to read for one, the links font is not a good choice as well as the gray background with dark grey text. its all hard to read. In your paragraph, i wouldnt thank the user for coming by. The idea on the front page is to get straight to the point. as much info as possible packed into as few lines as possible. the highlights section is unclear what it is. and the scrolling is distracting. i would prefer just something that fades to something else after a while. You could also use another color or two in there. Red is the compliment to green. or if you wanted more you could use pink and orange, or a purplish blue and yellow. Check this out for more ideas on color: http://colorschemedesigner.com/
  22. I think you need a little more background on torrenting before you continue. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torrent Do you need tracker software as well or are you using other peoples trackers? also none of those sites are even torrent sites. they just like to megaupload and rapidshare files. So if your looking for a link sharing site, try something searching for a link sharing system. There might be one on http://www.hotscripts.com or just google it. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=php+link+sharing+script
  23. that function works for me. <?php //html.php function html_cleanup($html) { $config = array( 'indent' => true, 'output-xml' => true, 'input-xml' => true, 'wrap' => '1000'); $tidy = new tidy(); $tidy->parseString($html, $config, 'utf8'); $tidy->cleanRepair(); return tidy_get_output($tidy); } $html = "<html><head></head><body><div><p>some text</p></div></body></html>"; $html2 = html_cleanup($html); echo "<!--Without html cleanup-->\n".$html; echo "\n\n<!--With html cleanup-->\n".$html2; ?> here are the results <!--Without html cleanup--> <html><head></head><body><div><p>some text</p></div></body></html> <!--With html cleanup--> <html> <head></head> <body> <div> <p>some text</p> </div> </body> </html> I put it online as well so if you really want to go check its @ http://grizz.ericwooley.com/html.php
