Ken2k7
First of all, your spelling isn't glamorous. Firefox 3 is obviously not Firefox 2. And Firefox is obviously not Internet Explorer. So obviously there will be differences. Maybe you just happen to like Firefox 2 and are accustomed to coding with it. It's fine if you don't feel the need to work with Firefox 3, but a lot of people will be using it, so if you're running a site, I would suggest you accommodate to it. I mean if you managed to deal with Internet Explorer, I don't see why Firefox 3 is that big of an issue. All my page layouts work flawlessly on FF3, even though they was designed/tested using FF2. Maybe you should make sure you're following the HTML/CSS standards, you can check this by using the HTML/CSS validators provided by w3c.org Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/122888-just-a-quick-comment-about-ff3/#findComment-635188 Share on other sites

zq29
I haven't had any issues with FF3 either, all my sites display exactly as they do in FF2 and none of my usual sites I visit have had any issues either... Daniel0
I'll second (fourth?) that Gecko 1.9 works fine for me. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/122888-just-a-quick-comment-about-ff3/#findComment-635359 Share on other sites
corbin
Firefox 3 owns. I would venture to guess that most of the time, if something between FF3 and FF2 looks differently, then FF3 is the one displaying it correctly. Don't bad mouth someone's (in this case a group's) good work just because you can't get a page to look right in it. God. Though, if the group happens to be the team behind IE, it might be acceptable... TheFilmGod
Um... the reason why FF3 sucks at rendering your page is because you are designing a website w/out understanding semantics. I think your poor spelling and grammar shows that you aren't "grammatically" correct in english - and I think it is safe to assume that you aren't "semantically" correct in html code. LemonInflux
FF3 displays pages fine for me. I can't find anything wrong with it actually. Mchl
I had one issue when FF3 came out, but it was because my code was invalid. One change and it looks good in both browsers now. JasonLewis
FF3 is lord of all browsers. IE is lucky to scrape in as a mere peasant. Bah, IE must die.
