It worked on my home computer, (the demo), their was one mistake with the full instal, so I tried it out on my laptop, 2. On my laptop I chose install Ubuntu near Windows, and began installing, said: 'There was a problem' and started to overwrite Windows !!! 3. Ubuntu is nice, 4. I lost all my files 5. Which OS do you use most of the time (on your own laptop/PC/...)? Mchl Posted May 8, 2009 Share Posted May 8, 2009 I got Vista and Ubuntu on my laptop. I work mostly on Vista (would work more with Ubuntu, if I could find a way to make my wi-fi card work). Axeia Posted May 9, 2009 Share Posted May 9, 2009 but I can begin again with ubuntu. Begin with windows, will simply overwrite the bootloader without an option to start ubuntu. Where ubuntu will let you boot windows from the bootloader just fine. I'm using openSUSE pretty much always, except for school where the wifi doesn't work, though it recently stopped working under windows as well...
