Scotty2024
Hello, Is there a way to track how much each adsense ad is generating. I have someone that helps contribute content to my website. I would like to track all the ads that are clicked in the content that this other person writes. That way, as an incentive, they will get a higher percentage of the revenue from those particular ads. It will give them an incentive to create more/better content also. I know its possible to generate different types of ads but I don't think its possible to see which ad is clicked or to track them. Well, at least I didn't see a way. So that brings me here to ask my question. Thanks for the help. keldorn
To do something like that you have to become a premium publisher I think. With that you get an API that does it. Sort like how Sedo and Ehow does it... But I'm going to guess you dont make $10K a month with adsense so you probably won't get a premium account. TheFilmGod
Things may have changed but I have always been able to track how each ad did. It was called something like a filter or tracker. It's been over a year since I used ad sense. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/181468-track-adsense-ads/#findComment-957584 Share on other sites

It's been over a year since I used ad sense. There in fact one called Channels, that will do that. But it can't be verified by other party without giving them your adsense login to check. A premium publisher with Google would get probably some API that would send the data to the user's account on your server and tell them in their CP how much they made. (Like in Sedo.com). The OP could though just let the person put their own pub-id on the site. Of coures that has issues of its own, then the publisher is also responsible for the content that appears on the site. Philip
You can use Google Analytics with it, and you can see what pages & content types are doing the best. I haven't personally used AdSense with GA, but I do use GA for a lot of my sites. Integrated with AdWords and AdSense Optimize your AdWords performance with post-click data on your keywords, search queries, match type and more. AdSense reports show publishers which site content generates the most revenue.
