silverglade
Hi, I was going to sell ecommerce websites with handmade shopping carts, but someone told me it would be better to just use the premade ones and just charge for the install .So I was wondering if anyone knows the name of a good open source ecommerce solution or shopping cart? Any help greatly appreciated. Once that has tutorials for it also as I need to learn how to integrate it into an existing website. Any help greatly appreciated. thanks. shlumph
I've messed around with OpenCart a little bit. It's very easy to extend, theme, and is pretty simple to use. http://www.opencart.com/
Maq
http://www.oscommerce.com/ is another popular one along with an active support community.
Daniel0
I've messed around with OpenCart a little bit. It's very easy to extend, theme, and is pretty simple to use. http://www.opencart.com/ I wouldn't recommend that. http://blog.visionsource.org/2010/01/28/opencart-csrf-vulnerability/

Jimania
I would suggest looking at the e-comm cart available from GoDaddy. It can be customized to a fair extent, can be set up for configurable searches and the whole system runs flawlessly. Set-up, including payment system, is really very easy. systemick
Being a fan of Drupal I always use Drupal & Ubercart. Drupal has a bit of a steep learning curve but once you get into it its a great app
