Hi friends,

I don't use a windows system more than 13 years.

So, I have a windows 95 but just forgot how to install Cyrillic layout into it.

I wrote a message to the microsoft support service for now without any response.

Does someone have an idea?

You're kidding, right? Microsoft stopped supporting Windows 95 more than a decade ago.

Should I know it ???

Well, if someone ask me whether Microsoft still supports 98, 2000, millenium, XP, I'm not sure that I can give him a correct answer, the same I could say for OS's X.

Anyways, thank you for reply, so I found a patch for 95 and 98 into the web - http://virusdefence.org/bulgarian-phonetic-cyrillic-support-for-windows.html

I think the question here is why the f*** are you using windows 95?  Why not use a newer version, or linux distro?

Those answers would be no, no, no, and almost no.

I can guarantee that any modern light-weight distro will run better on that computer, than what Win95 does.

Slax, for instance, is one such distro. Based upon Slackware, and having lots of modules available for quick and easy installation, it's my favourite pocket Linux distro. There are multiple other such distros as well, such as Puppy Linux, Lubuntu and even DamnSmallLinux.

Searching will almost guaranteed provide you with lots more options. All more secure, generally faster, and way more modern than W95. ;)
