helloworld001
There is no SEO section so I do not know where exactly to ask this question, but here it is. https://www.google.ca/?gfe_rd=cr&ei=jgm3VIqFNtCy8wfH3YD4CA#q=twitter.com Do you see how Google lists Twitter results in two columbs underneath the main heading title? How does one achieve that result with their website? Does only Google decides to make it show up that way? Monkuar
I think google just does it automatically based upon the sites popularity/hits? Monkuar
and there is most likely, undoubtedly a lot of money involved. Not necessarily, look at d2jsp. I know for a fact Paul Taulborg never spent a dime on advertising, and doesn't even use adsense. His site is displayed just like twitter and other crazy and popular sites. I think once the popularity reaches a certain threshold by site activity, is when the layout becomes like that. But I do believe people have an option to pay as well. kicken
They are called Sitelinks. Google will analyze your site and show them if it decides they are helpful. The only thing you can do to help get them enabled is ensure that you have well-designed sematic markup and link text in order to help google's algorithm determine whether they are appropriate or not. brotherZ
You can also use Google Webmasters and choose your sitelinks. If you haven't registered with Google Webmasters, I strongly recommend that you do. The URL is google.com/webmasters/.
