New Car!!!

It takes Premium Unleaded. I may be able to use Unleaded, but that may result in performance loss, and/or poor running.

City (mpg)  17

Highway (mpg) 25 - 27

I'll take a pic as soon as I get the car, but here is what it looks like on auto trader:

It looks like there is some scratches near the bottom of the door, but those are just reflections.

Congrats... just got a new car myself... http://www.toyota.com/RAV4/

The one I got:

  Limited model

  4WD

  4 cylinder

  JBL Audio upgrade

stocked with most of the upgrades

Wasn't really looking for speed or power, but it's pretty quick for a SUV.  Just needed a little more room than my previous car.  Plus the 4WD will be nice for the winters.

My uncle has a Rav4 and they got a bit of juice to them.

I still remember the first year that they came out, they were a cross between a jeep and SUV and looked ridiculous.  They look a lot better in recent years than they did then.

My title is "systems analyst".  I'm in charge of my company's main platform and all that goes on with it.  I work in somewhat of a management role with our development team.

Thanks bro for your answer.

You must be very smart person to have that position.

I'll pray for you for more success and good health.  ;)

Just remember to remind your kids about bright lights and sun lights, so that they don't develop eye diseases when they reach the age of 50.

Thanks again... :D

Little Guy - I strongly suggest that you invest in a Chilton's manual. They are the best references I've ever seen, and cover nearly every single make and model of car produced during the years the book covers. They come with a price tag of about $100, but in my opinion, are well worth it.

Congrats everybody, I also just bought a new car. I'm fixing a big move up North, so I figured I'd get something with a little more stability than the minivan I was driving:

Pretty nice so far. Also, since we just found out we're expecting #3, we've got the third row seats to fit everyone in it still ;)

Now, I've just got to find a cheapo to get me to and from work lol :D

I was going to, but I just wanted to see if anyone knew of any free ones first.

And I think I said this already unless this is the first time you're mentioning it... but congrats on #3 :)

Yea, it's actually the first time I mentioned it on here. We've had trouble with miscarriages in the past, so I haven't mentioned this one until we were a little further along.

Thanks for the well wishes!

Ahh... my wife and I were lucky with the first.  I hope the next ones go as well.  Glad it all worked out for you in the end.  Best wishes for a healthy pregnancy and a beautiful baby :)

I'm fixing a big move up North

Where to?

At the risk of a total thread hijack (sorry to the OP), I'll go ahead and answer this one...

I'm fixing to make the move from South Carolina to Buffalo, NY. Quite a move, but a great job situation has opened up that will allow my wife to stay home full time with the kids (she's working FT right now). We also have some of our closest friends that live there, and since she's from Canada, she loves the idea of being within an hour of the border, too.

Wow!  That's awesome!  And dude... you'll be right around the corner from me ;)

And it's always excellent when your wife can stay home with the kids.  I'm so glad my wife is able to do that.

This thread is more than a year old. Please don't revive it unless you have something important to add.
