1. There is a new feature at phpfreaks.  Below the last thread on the left, you'll find a "topic solved" link.  Please use it!
2. It's back!  You'll find an option at the bottom of the thread that reads "Topic Solved".  Click on it and it'll mark your thread solved! SPECIAL THANKS to JayBachatero for his hard work on this mod :)
3. You're quite welcome :)  The best thanks is helping someone else!  Just remember that!
4.
Could somebody remove the 'N/A' option? I guess it is "not applicable" for Windows or Mac users, but if you use Windows or Mac you shouldn't even vote...
I added the option, you twit.  And I'll vote on a topic wherever I damn well please.
5. I said VB ... but I'd never use it.  There's no way I'll ever install anything but SMF from now on.
6. Sorry... I don't micromanage like that.  All that planning is a bunch of BS and a waste of valuable time IMHO.
7. Looks pretty sharp... definately has a web 2.0 feel to it.
8. I'm sorry, but that's not what this forum is about.  Unless you plan to pay me, I'm not just going to fix up your code.
9. How about you start by telling us what isn't working right so we don't have to sort through it all? By the way: value='$row[0]' without enclosing that in PHP tags, it's not going to put the value in there.
10. ahhh... sorry, I meant textpad.  I got my fingers crossed.  You should check out their website for all kinds of syntax highlighters and stuff too.
11. I use notepad for a lot of stuff.  I haven't used the other two, so I can't really give my opinion or the differences.
12. CV explained it well enough.  We've been down this road before and it didn't work.
13. We have a freelancing board on this site... you might try there as well.
14. ?  I gave you a link directly to it.  What else did you want?
15. I still think you're a little unclear on how things really work or when you use AJAX.  And I'm not trying to talk down to you or anything, I'm just trying to make you understand. Just keep in mind that you're not touching the "backend" or "called page" until after the initial document is loaded.  Even if you did something with the "called page" on the initial loading of the page, that variable would cease to exist by the time you make the AJAX call later.
16. I wasn't being hostile.  Just explaining the situation.  If you really think IPB is that great, PM phpfreak and ask him why we switched.  The site was being taken down or hacked every other week. And have you ever been an admin of a SMF board?  It's much cleaner and it keeps everything in a better flow.  I just don't even think the two compare.  And don't even get me into the idea of modding. By the way, I modified your notifications in your profile.  See if that helps.  (You might just consider checking out that section of your profile as well).
17. I suggest you find the money to pay someone to do it.
18. You're one of few, my friend.
19. I added a N/A option.  I used to use KDE, but I've been out of the Linux world for about 3 years now.
20. It's another SMF board... the client requested it and I'm actually finding it quite handy :)
21. There is an even later release out now: http://my.opera.com/community/forums/topic.dml?id=169030 Which beta site are you talking about?  To get the latest betas/weeklies, you have to go into the forums.
22. ...... creating the window doesn't involve AJAX.  That is strictly setup using CSS/Javascript.  Updating it with recent buddy changes would be where the AJAX part comes in. If you've started something, please post the code so we can help.  No one is going to write it for you.
