It send it to the server, but still it doesn't show it.     I got a page where user able to search data by filtering using datepicker(date range) or using dropdown selection option. There are two button on the page which are search button and print button. I want to pass the data which i have search to another page where i using mpdf. How to pass the searched value to another page(mpdf).. im using method POST for my form. what kind of unique ID or value that i can pass to another page?

    Im currently doing the generate report from fetched data. I got 2 type of search filter , search by date and search using customername (select dropdown list).     Hello to you all this code I am working on just will not quiet work for me I know as always I am missing something basic that's why I thought one of you may kindly help me fix it. I have a form a very basic form a text area and a submit button, in the form my user will be submitting a result set of player names and points from a tournament, the result set looks like: player1 5 player2 5 player3 5 player4 10 player5 10 player6 15 player7 20 in the actual results player1 would be a player name followed by the points of up to 120 points, I need to take that post on submission I'm sending it to a points_processing.php, I need to break that down to insert it into a database as individual player names and player points so that when the next report is submitted I can check for the player name (if exists ) add the new points to the current total and save it again back to my database. so I started putting together a script to catch and explode this result set see my posted script, //explode the post into an array $points = $_POST['points']; $player_name = explode(" ", $points); //get the INT points value $player_points = str_split($player_name, -3); // count the array length $player_count = count($player_name); for($i = 0; $i<$player_count; $i++) { if I echo player_name[$I] I get the post echo but I can not seem to separate the INT point value from the end of each line, please please can anyone help me work out how to get this done P.S I have attached a screenshot of an actual result set that will be posted, everything from START POINTS to STOP POINTS will be submitted.

    Hey guys, So I have been looking around for a while, and I was wondering if I could read process memory (rpm) and write process memory (wpm) from my webserver to the client. Say I had a c++ 32 bit application and I wanted to read memory of the application and change it, is it possible to do this? Ideally it would be a server side language, also I had a look and the basic consensus is no, however is it possible to do something similar to mouse_event in php, js or another web server language. Sorry I am new! Thanks guys! I found this string shmop_read ( int $shmid , int $start , int $count ) which is reading a shared memory block. What is a shared memory block? Thanks!

    Hey guys: I have a database that is full of items. Each item lives in a box, with various accessories. I'm trying to loop through this DB to print out a label for each case that shows the amount of items that are in the case, along with the accessories that belong to it. I currently have a rather convoluted bit of code, that kind of works, but doesn't have the order that I want. I want to create a new array that just contains the [id] key. If not, I apologize I have just installed e-fiction on my website and I am having a little issue with some of the codes and where I need to go to modify things. This is a screenshot of the page and what I am trying to modify. What I want to do is make the banner CENTERED. This I thought was easy but whatever I do, it doesn't seem to work. I must be looking in the wrong place. Secondly, I want to move the menu bar - HOME - MEMBERS - SEARCH etc underneath the banner and that too to be centered.     Hi All, This is part of a PHP script that I am wanting to use to automate some daily data exports. The problem I am having, is adding a datestamp to my export file. The script itself works when executed in MySQL but not under PHP. Does anyone have any insight into how I can get this working?     At my CMS I want to give site moderators ability to associate any meta information to a page. For meta keywords and description I have different fields but all other stuff are inserted like raw html , like this: <meta name="Generator" content="SomeCMS" /> <meta name="robots" content="nofollow" /> <link rel="canonical" href="http://example.com/content/poisk-i-upravlenie-kontentom" /> This html will be echoed to the page. Mainly only meta tags and link(rel=canonical) will be here. And now I think I have to make sure there is no xss attack in this code. So I need to filter it before saving to database. HtmlPurifier or http://github.com/voku/anti-xss don't work with meta tags. So what would you advise me? To parse text with regexp for meta tags and then check every metatag found for any style or on attributes or http-equiv="refresh"(to deny malicious metatag)?

    I have an html form that inserts a record into database. I also have a an html edit form that retrieves the data from the database. Normally everything works. But I just noticed that I have an issue if I use double quotes in the form field. It'll insert into the database fine. The problem arises when outputting the variable in the form field. If I echo it outside the form field, it'll show up fine with the double quotes. But inside the field, I only geta partial string. For eg. $variable_input = '5 3/4" Glitter Concealed Platform Pump'; The above will insert to the database. But if I retrieve it in the form field below, it'll return with one number only. <input type="text" name="title" value="5" /> Is there a way to fix the variable output of the wording that includes the double quotes?

    Hi I have been putting together a CMS system for users that have no idea how to use HMTL, at this time I have managed to build a basic CMS and now I am looking to extend the functionality of its use, right now the user can view the public pages with links, login to the Admin area to manage the subjects or pages and visibility of all and delete any of all or add an admin member, that's a nut shell to a ot of work already done; moving forwards I want to take away the need for any user ever needing to type any code, so if they wish to change the font colour, weight, type o back ground colour or image etc..... so how would anyone recommend working this, I was thinking maybe add buttons and selection boxes that save the correct data into a separate table and retrieve both and concatenate it back together

    Hi We had an online aptitude test written for us back in 2004/2005. A user registers on our site then can take a test that evaluates what type of learner they are. After they complete the test, we can send them a .pdf report. The front end of our site is a wordpress site, the testing center is written in php. Once a user registers, they get a link on our site that sends them out of wordpress to the PHP testing pages. Question: if we have 4-5 users sign up at once ( which isn't a problem in wordpress ), is there a way to allow for those users to take the aptitude test all at once. As of now, the "testing center" part of our site is only allowing 1 user at a time. Is this how PHP works? Is it the hosting server? We are hosted by Network Solutions. The test is around 120 questions long and 3 pages. Thanks in advance.
