neylitalo
know what that says to me? to much time on his hands. Says the admin of a webdesign forum... I was going to say that many people would say exactly that, but didn't think it would come from any of our own members...
redbullmarky
know what that says to me? to much time on his hands. ha it must have took him a while, but if you think about it - it's only nerdy/sad because his painting tool of choice was a PC with MSPaint. Seriously, I've seen how long it takes artists to draw stuff on "real" canvas - or musician to record a CD (which i've been attempting for nearly 5 years and still not finished ) - creativity takes time. LOTS of time. Pretty impressive, I say.

Not that there's anything wrong with this, him saying that only made him injudicious. Maybe that's his profession, maybe it's part of his job, rather then "too much time on his hands". ober
http://www.forgetfoo.com/?blogid=7590 I wonder if it's the same guy that did this one?
redbullmarky
again, impressive. i'm wondering if there's a stylus or graphics tablet of some form at work rather than a mouse. THEN it seems more feasible.
ober
I don't know.. I know another guy on another forum I run that Has equally impressive skills with MS Paint and he just uses a mouse. He's actually working on his own little video game and all the graphics are done in Paint.

448191
again, impressive. i'm wondering if there's a stylus or graphics tablet of some form at work rather than a mouse. THEN it seems more feasible. I don't think that's the case. If you check out this guy, he makes a sketch using a tablet first, then follows the lines. The result is even more impressive I think. The other guy seems to skip the first part. The back wheels on the first seems like a fix a sketch could have avoided.
roopurt18
Here's one I made last year when the WoW servers were down. Took about an hour if I remember correctly and I turned my mouse sensitivity way down, which helped a lot. I should try and do one in paint sometime, for shits 'n' giggles. Daniel0
Very impressive. I can't even draw with a pencil on paper...
.josh
I'm not impressed. That can be faked. Just get a photo, catoonize it, hit the record button and tear it down, line by line until there's nothing left. Then reverse the recording, and voila, you've got the effect of drawing it. Racc
I'm not impressed. That can be faked. Just get a photo, catoonize it, hit the record button and tear it down, line by line until there's nothing left. Then reverse the recording, and voila, you've got the effect of drawing it. Due to the amount of shaping and re-shaping he does, I doubt it. But who knows.
.josh
Well I'm not saying it was faked. I'm just saying that it's fairly easy to create that illusion.
