  1. hi guys im trying to hide a specific class selector in jquery. where the id and the type attributes are generated dynamically. but dont know how to select and hide it so, as to do a ajax call. can anyone help. here is the code for the jquery: $(".hidden_text_area").click(function(){ $(".hidden_edit_4_session").show(); var hide_status=$(".statusboxes").attr('type'); $(hide_status).find(".statusboxes").hide(); }); and here is the code where the type attribute is which i want to select and hide if the user clicks edit button. $status_list='<fieldset><div class="jumbotron"><div id="'.$updateid.'" type="'.$updateid.'" class="statusboxes">' . '<h3 style="text-align:left; color:black;" class="pull-left">'.$title.'</h3>' . '<span class="pull-right">' . '<div class="dropdown">' . '<button type="button" class="btn btn-danger dropdown-toggle" data-toggle="dropdown" >' . '<span class="glyphicon glyphicon-edit"></span></button>' . '<ul class="dropdown-menu">' . '<li><a href="#" class="hidden_text_area glyphicon glyphicon-pencil" title="Edit this status" >Edit</a></li>'.$statusdeletebutton.'</ul></div></span><br><hr><span class="pull-left"style="font-size:14px; text-align:left; color:black;"><legend>' . $data.'</legend></span><br><b style="text-align:right; color:black;"><small>Posted by:- <a href="search_results.php?u='.$author.'">'.$author. 2. Guys recently i finished a infinite scroll to one of my projects using jquery, php and mysql. After creating that i face the problem of tinymce editor not binding to the dynamically generated textarea. What should i do? here is the code for tinymce editor: tinymce.init({ menubar:false, forced_root_block : "", selector: "textarea#wall_edit_1", entities : '160,nbsp,162,cent,8364,euro,163,pound', theme: "modern", resize: false, height: 200, plugins: [ " autolink link image preview hr anchor pagebreak spellchecker", "searchreplace wordcount visualblocks visualchars insertdatetime media nonbreaking", "save table contextmenu directionality emoticons paste textcolor" ], content_css: "css/content.css", toolbar: "insertfile undo redo | styleselect | bold italic | alignleft aligncenter alignright alignjustify | bullist numlist outdent indent | l ink image | print preview media fullpage | emoticons", style_formats: [ {title: 'Bold text', inline: 'b'}, // {title: 'Red text', inline: 'span', styles: {color: '#ff0000'}}, {title: 'Header', block: 'h1'}, {title: 'Example 1', inline: 'span', classes: 'example1'}, {title: 'Example 2', inline: 'span', classes: 'example2'}, {title: 'Table styles'}, {title: 'Table row 1', selector: 'tr', classes: 'tablerow1'} ] }); here is the php code that dynamically generates the textarea while using the infinite scroll feature in jquery: if ($author==$_SESSION['uname'] || $account_name==$_SESSION['uname']) { $statusdeletebutton='<li>' . '<a type="'.$updateid.'" class="btn delete_4_session hidden_text_delete_'.$updateid.' glyphicon glyphicon-trash delete_status_btn" title="Delete this status and its replies">Remove</a></li>'; $edit_btn='<li>' . 3. I have 'launched' an iframe from index.php. Index.php defines: <title>Admin Panels</title>. Within this iframe I access other pages with onClick. The function called looks like: function adminPanelRedirect(gotoHere) { switch (gotoHere) { .... document.location.href='http://news/administration/adminpanel3.php'; How can I change the title to 'Panel 3'. I've tried various DOM paths with window. and document. but I can't seem to get it done. window.frameElement.title returns the current one, but I can't change it. I don't want to use jQuery. Thanks.
  4. Hosting is Godaddy, share. I have a form textarea that creates a huge amount of data (pasted images via the ckeditor). A post with that much data will fail with 413 Request Entity Too Large. (It works until the data exceeds 1MB) If these were files, Godaddy can be configured to accept large ones. This is not a file. (I just wondered if you can create a file from this and process it that way.) Has anyone ever split up the data from a text area, sent multiple posts, and then reconstructed the multiple post outputs (left as files) at the server? Seems way too complicated to get data to Godaddy. If there is an example somewhere, I'd like to see it. Interesting aside. Godaddy spent a while on this problem until the agent contacted the 'big' guns. Seems this spec, posting limits, may be guarded information. Anyway, they wouldn't share it. Thank you.
  5. Hi everyone, I want to know, will Javascript's onclick on button work in PHP while loop? I mean, If I out "onclick" with function inside html tag, then put html inside echo under while loop. Will JavaScript's onclick work? Like this script below: $i = 0; while( $i < 5) { echo "<button id='btn' onclick='test()'>Hello</button>"; $i++; } This loop will create 4 times loop with same echo with onclick, so will onclick call Javascript programming?
  6. Hello, I want to download flight from Wizzair page. I've checked all headers which are sended when browser "create" request (the same which Ryanair few months ago). It looks like this in my browser: I'm entering at https://wizzair.com/pl-PL/Search, select everything (from-to, date arrival and departure) then click "Send" and I've got results. I've checked headers and I can see, that theres two requests to the following pages: 1) Search (here is created session ID saved in cookie, i've also sent POST parameters here), it returns error 302 then redirect to: 2) Select (theres no any post or get parameters, just requested session ID created before) and return results with flights. I was trying to achieve the same results by curl. I created curl request with the same POST parameters to Search page. I save sessionId to cookie, also create the same cookies as in browser. Then enter to Select page, use cookies saved before but nothing happens. First request return 302 error (the same happen in brower) Second request returns default Wizzair website without flight results If I use sessionId generated in my browser (not from curl request), second request show me correct results. Why it doesn't work in curl? Is there any request processed and saved JavaScript which is not processed by curl method? Code from my first requst where i'm sending post parameters in request $fields = array( 'cookiePolicyDismissed' => 'true', '__EVENTTARGET' => 'HeaderControlGroupRibbonSelectView_AvailabilitySearchInputRibbonSelectView_ButtonSubmit', '__VIEWSTATE' => '/wEPDwUBMGQYAQUeX19Db250cm9sc1JlcXVpcmVQb3N0QmFja0tleV9fFgEFXEhlYWRlckNvbnRyb2xHcm91cFJpYmJvblNlbGVjdFZpZXckQXZhaWxhYmlsaXR5U2VhcmNoSW5wdXRSaWJib25TZWxlY3RWaWV3JFN0dWRldFNlbmlvckdyb3VwwAw35gayQedhYJ8oz+CHlR8x2gWGvNOEfHfCOBjF/lk=', 'cff49415-63b6-4d31-b273-5eab61b6c327' => 'e2df7ef6-3abf-4eab-8110-51c30f30109a', 'HeaderControlGroupRibbonSelectView%24AvailabilitySearchInputRibbonSelectView%24OriginStation' => $from, 'HeaderControlGroupRibbonSelectView%24AvailabilitySearchInputRibbonSelectView%24DestinationStation' => $to, 'HeaderControlGroupRibbonSelectView%24AvailabilitySearchInputRibbonSelectView%24DepartureDate' => $dateStart, 'HeaderControlGroupRibbonSelectView%24AvailabilitySearchInputRibbonSelectView%24ReturnDate' => $dateBack, 'HeaderControlGroupRibbonSelectView%24AvailabilitySearchInputRibbonSelectView%24PaxCountADT' => '1', 'HeaderControlGroupRibbonSelectView%24AvailabilitySearchInputRibbonSelectView%24PaxCountCHD' => '0', 'HeaderControlGroupRibbonSelectView%24AvailabilitySearchInputRibbonSelectView%24PaxCountINFANT' => '0', 'WizzSummaryDisplaySelectViewRibbonSelectView%24PaymentCurrencySelector' => '00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000FULL', 'HeaderControlGroupRibbonSelectView%24AvailabilitySearchInputRibbonSelectView%24ButtonSubmit' => 'Szukaj'); //url-ify the data for the POST foreach($fields as $key=>$value) { $fields_string .= $key.'='.$value.'&'; } rtrim($fields_string,'&'); //open connection $ch = curl_init(); //set the url, number of POST vars, POST data curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_URL,$url); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_USERAGENT, 'Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:34.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/34.0'); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_HEADER,1); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER, 1); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION, 1); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_COOKIEJAR, COOKIE_FILE); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYPEER, 0); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_HTTPHEADER, array( 'Host: wizzair.com', 'Accept: text/html,application/xhtml+xml,application/xml;q=0.9,/*;q=0.8', 'Accept-Language: pl,en;q=0.7,en-us;q=0.3', 'Connection: keep-alive' )); curl_setopt($ch,CURLOPT_POST,count($fields)); curl_setopt($ch,CURLOPT_POSTFIELDS,$fields_string); //execute post $result = curl_exec($ch); curl_close($ch);
  7. Wasnt sure whether to put this in Javascript or CSS, sorry... I'm using Skrollr at this dev URL (http://workwave.joomlatest01.mms-dev.com/) to make all the desk items "slide away" NOTE: things are messy currently but you get the gist of what happens (i.e. the clutter moves away and the software on the monitor replaces it) I'm using this "helper" function, found here (https://www.bram.us/2014/01/01/skrollr-css-animations-linked-to-scroll-position/)... var setSkrollr = function($el, data) { for (var i = 0, l = data.length; i < l; i++) { // loop all data entries (scroll positions + css property & value) var d = data[i], // the current data entry px = d[0]; // the scroll position (in pixels) css = d[1]; // the css property + value to set $el.attr('data-' + px, css); } } So the skrollr code for these moving desk items looks like this currently... jQuery(function($) { setSkrollr($('#t3-mainnav'), [[0, 'height: 100px'], [300, 'height: 50px']]); setSkrollr($('#t3-mainnav .container'), [[0, 'top: 25px; height: 100px'], [300, 'top: 0px; height: 50px ']]); setSkrollr($('#filecabinet'), [[0, 'top: -60px; left: 60%; display: block;'], [300, 'top: 280px; left: 200%; display: none']]); setSkrollr($('#calculator'), [[0, 'top:520px; left:0%'], [300, 'top:700px; left:-200%']]); setSkrollr($('#stapler'), [[0, 'top:440px; left:12%'], [300, 'top:700px; left:-200%']]); setSkrollr($('#pens'), [[0, 'top:280px; left:38%;'], [300, 'top:580px; left:-200%; ']]); setSkrollr($('#postits'), [[0, 'top:470px; left:70%; display: block;'], [200, 'top:700px; left:200%; display: none;']]); setSkrollr($('#cup'), [[700, 'top:640px'], [1800, 'top:-500px'] ]); setSkrollr($('#map'), [[0, 'top:530px; left:73%; display: block'], [200, 'top:700px; left:200%; display: none; ']]); setSkrollr($('#calendar'), [[0, 'top:500px; left:22%;display: block'], [300, 'top:740px; left:-200%; ']]); setSkrollr($('#monitor'), [[0, 'display:none'], [100, 'display:block; top: 100%'], [300, 'top:11%; position: fixed'], [700, 'top:11%'], [1600, 'top:-100%'] ]); setSkrollr($('#headline'), [[700, 'top:90px'], [1800, 'top:-400px'] ]); setSkrollr($('#desk'), [[700, 'top:560px'], [1800, 'top:-500px'] ]); setSkrollr($('.toplink'), [[0, 'display:block'], [10, 'display:none']]); skrollr.init({ smoothScrolling: false }); I can change the size of the images based on screen resolution using CSS Media Queries and "scale" to reduce the size of the images as the screen width decreases. But right now things are POSITIONED using that skrollr helper function above and I can't change the positions based on screen resolutions. In other words, whatever position I specify in the helper function is the position always. So I can say start the map 85% from the left and it will always be 85% from the left regardless of screen size. So visually it starts in different spots, i.e. if things are positioned OK on a 1920 monitor, when you go down to a 1024 monitor, things are not ideally positioned. It would be a lot of work, but if I could adjust starting/ending positions in media queries, I could make things look perfect at pretty much every resolution. Anyone know if this is possible? I'm new to Skrollr so may just be missing something. Or if anyone has other ideas on how to do this animation easier/more efficiently, please let me know. Thanks!
  8. So I have a simple script that adds and returns mysql data without refreshing the page. Everything works as it should. The only issue that I've noticed is that if I login as a user and insert a record(text) the FIRST time, it won't return that record in the row below. Not until I refresh the page. Now if I delete that record and insert a new record, it will then automatically return the record without the page refresh, as it should. Can you tell me why this is happening? Here is my js code. <script> $(document).ready(function(){ var recordId = $("#record-id").val(); function showRecord(){ $.ajax({ type: "POST", url: "bid-actions.php", data: "recordId="+recordId+"&action=showRecord", success:function(data){ $(".show-records").html(data); } }); } showRecord(); $(document).on('click','#record-submit',function() { var message = $("#message").val(); var recordId = $("#record-id").val(); $.ajax({ type: "POST", url: "bid-actions.php", data: "message="+message+"&recordId="+recordId+"&action=insertRecord", success:function(data){ showRecord(); $("#message").val(''); } }); }); }); </script> Html code. <div id="record-submit-form"> <input type="hidden" id="record-id" value="<?php echo $record_id; ?>"> <textarea id="message"></textarea> <input type="button" id="record-submit" value="Submit"> </div> <div class="show-records"> </div>

Hi, I have a php script that generates a select dropdown box <option value="1"> Bob </option> <option value="2"> Tim </option> <option value="3"> Sam </option> <option value="4"> Phil </option> I then have the following javascript to produce my google api graph: <script type="text/javascript"> google.load('visualization', '1', {'packages':['corechart']}); google.setOnLoadCallback(drawChart); function drawChart() { var jsonData = $.ajax({ url: "test1.php", dataType:"json", async: false, }).responseText; var data = new google.visualization.DataTable(jsonData); var chart = new google.visualization.LineChart(document.getElementById('chart_div')); chart.draw(data); } </script> This then runs a php script that returns the data back in Json format. How can I pass the <option value=""> through the to the test1.php script to generate the json data based on the the value selected i.e 1, 2, 3 etc. i an new at javascript and the google api can anyone let me know how I can get this variable sent through by the google api script. and for the graph to refresh every time another option is chosen. Thanks kris
  11. So I have been working on my website for a while which all is php&mysql based, now working on the social networking part building in similar functions like Facebook has. I encountered a difficulty with getting information back from a link. I've checked several sources how it is possible, with title 'Facebook Like URL data Extract Using jQuery PHP and Ajax' was the most popular answer, I get the scripts but all of these scripts work with html links only. My site all with php extensions and copy&paste my site links into these demos do not return anything . I checked the code and all of them using file_get_contents(), parsing through the html file so if i pass 'filename.php' it returns nothing supposing that php has not processed yet and the function gets the content of the php script with no data of course. So my question is that how it is possible to extract data from a link with php extension (on Facebook it works) or how to get php file executed for file_get_contents() to get back the html? here is the link with code&demo iamusing: http://www.sanwebe.com/2013/06/extract-url-content-like-facebook-with-php-and-jquery thanks in advance.
  12. I want to fetch items from a database and be able to update their quantity by selecting a number from a drop down selection and press the button "Update quantity" to perform the action. I have the following php code: echo '<table border="4"> <tr> <th>ID</th> <th>Item Name</th> <th>Current Quantity</th> <th>New Quantity</th> <th>Update</th> </tr>'; for($i=0 ;$i<$k; $i++) $z = $i+1; //fetch data from database $id = the id of the row that the entry/item is at $item_name = the name of the item $current_quantity = the current quantity of the item //create a table of entries echo '<tr'> <td>'.$z.'</td> <td>'.$item_name.'</td> <td>'.$current_quantity.'</td> <td> <select id="quantity" name="quantity"> <option value="1">1</option> <option value="2">2</option> <option value="3">3</option> . . . </select> </td>'; echo '<td> <button type="button" value="'.$id.'" name="updatebtn" id="updatebtn">Update Quantity</button> </td>'; echo '</tr>'; Where k = number or matches in database The result is something like this: //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// ///ID // Item Name // Current Quantity // New Quantity // Update /// //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// // 1 // Shoes // 10 // 12 // Update Quantity // //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// // 2 // T-shirts // 5 // 8 // Update Quantity // //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// // 3 // Watches // 4 // 2 // Update Quantity // //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// The first 3 columns are populated by the database and New Quantity by the user. As soon as the user is done with the new quantity he/she presses "Update Quantity" to update the database. Below is the jQuery code i use: $(document).ready(function(){ $('#updatebtn').click(function(){ //i use this value to find the exact entry in the database var id = $('#updatebtn').attr('value'); var quantity_selected = $('select#quantity option:selected').attr('value'); $.ajax({ type: "POST", url: "js/ajax/updatequantity.php", data: {id: id, new_quantity: quantity_selected} }); //this is for testing alert('ok'); }); }); The updatequantity.php script just takes the new quantity and the row of the entry and updates the value. My problem is: If i press the "Update Quantity" of the item "Shoes", i see the pop-up "ok" and the quantity is updated. But when i try to do the same for the 2 other items (T-shirts and watches), i get nothing. Does my js script has trouble to differentiate between the "Update Quantity" buttons? Is there another approach? ps: i am doing this using wamp on my localhost Thanks in advance.
  13. I have this js code that works great. Now the new option I would like to add is the "days". Right now it's only based on hours, mins, seconds. Can you show me how you would add the "days" option to it? function Timer(container, timeLeft) { // get hour, minute and second element using jQuery selector var hoursContainer = $(container).find('.hour'); var minsContainer = $(container).find('.min'); var secsContainer = $(container).find('.sec'); // hold time left var currentTimeLeft = timeLeft; // 1 second = 1000 ms var secondsForTimer = 1000; // hold ID value return by setInterval() var timerInterval; // call setInteval() only when timeLeft is greater than 0 if (currentTimeLeft == 0) { return; } else { //Call setInterval()function and store ID value to timerInterval. timerInterval = setInterval(countdown, secondsForTimer); } //function being passed to setInterval() function countdown() { currentTimeLeft = parseInt(currentTimeLeft - secondsForTimer); if (currentTimeLeft == 0) { //stop calling countdown function by calling clearInterval() clearInterval(timerInterval); return; } else { //calculate hours left var wholeSeconds = parseInt(currentTimeLeft / 1000,10); var wholeMinutes = parseInt(currentTimeLeft / 60000,10); var wholeHours = parseInt(wholeMinutes / 60,10); //calculate minutes left var minutes = parseInt(wholeMinutes % 60,10); //calculate seconds left var seconds = parseInt(wholeSeconds % 60,10); //prefix 0 to hour, min and second counter $(hoursContainer).text((wholeHours < 10 ? "0" : "") + wholeHours + (wholeHours <=0 ? " hr" : " hrs")); $(minsContainer).text((minutes < 10 ? "0" : "") + minutes + (minutes <=0 ? " min" : " mins")); $(secsContainer).text((seconds < 10 ? "0" : "") + seconds + (seconds <=0 ? " sec" : " secs")); } } } Thanks.
  14. I have a very troubling problem at hand. I am using a web-socket server that runs in PHP. The issue is I need to be able to use a setInterval/setTimeout function similar to javascript, but within my php server. I do not have the time or resources to convert my entire project over to nodejs/javascript. It will take forever. I love php so much, that I do not want to make the switch. Everything else works fine and I feel like it's not worth it to re-write everything just because I cannot use a similar setInterval function inside php. Since the php socket server runs through the shell, I can use a setInterval type function using a loop: protected function on_server_tick($counter) { if($counter%5 == 0) { // 5 seconds interval } if($counter%10 == 0) { // 10 seconds interval } } $this->last_tick_time = microtime(true); $this->tick_interval = 1; $this->tick_counter = 0; while(true) { //loop code here... $t= microtime(true) - $this->last_tick_time; if($t>= $this->tick_interval) { $this->on_server_tick(++$this->tick_counter); $this->last_tick_time = microtime(true) - ($t- $this->tick_interval); } } This code does work as intended, but it seems a bit overboard for resources and I feel like that while loop will suck a lot resources. Is there anyway I can re-compile PHP from source and include a "while2" loop that only iterates every 500 miliseconds instead of instantly?
  15. Can anyone help by shedding some light with a little problem I encounter using JSON endpoint requests. I'm not very good with PHP. When the endpoint is called and finds no data, I want to replace it with a local image source. In this case, I am calling brewery->logo_url. Most entries have endpoints, but some don't. When an image link is found at the endpoint, it throws off my layout. You can see the ones that look off. They align to the left. I want to replace with a logo default image each time this happens, with hopes to set the layout adjust back to normal. Here's my working document http://graintoglass.com/fb/tap-menu-test.php and here's the JSON. http://mcallen.taphunter.com/widgets/locationWidget?location=Grain-To-Glass&format=jsonv2short Code Effort <?php $url = 'http://mcallen.taphunter.com/widgets/locationWidget?location=Grain-To-Glass&format=jsonv2short&servingtype=bottlecan'; $curl_session = curl_init($url); curl_setopt($curl_session, CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER, true); curl_setopt($curl_session, CURLOPT_CONNECTTIMEOUT, 4); curl_setopt($curl_session, CURLOPT_TIMEOUT, 10); $data = curl_exec($curl_session); curl_close($curl_session); $beer_list = json_decode($data); echo '<p class="last-updated">Last Updated: ' . date("m/d/Y") .   18. Hi everyone Im having a nightmare with javascript again grrrr, I'm just not great with javascript / jquery so basically I have a table with inputs to create an invoice, the reason im using javascript to post the form is because i have to allow for infinite items to be added into the database using json stringify as an array, the problem I have is im trying to force that atleast 1 item be added to the table before posting the data. I am using bootstrap and this hasn't been a problem for all of my other forms because i can just add required to the input but because i have to do this one differently using an a href button This form just wont validate (but it will post the data to the php script) so here is my code: Table with inputs: <tbody style="" class="item ui-sortable-handle"> <tr> <td rowspan="2" class="td-icon"> <i class="glyphicon glyphicon-resize-vertical cursor-move"></i> </td> <td class="td-text"> <input type="hidden" name="invoice_id" value="<?php echo $invoiceNo;?>"> <input type="hidden" name="item_id" value> <div class="input-group"> <span class="input-group-addon">Item</span> <input type="text" name="item_name" class="input-sm form-control" required> </div> </td> <td class="td-amount td-quantity"> <div class="input-group"> <span class="input-group-addon">Quantity</span> <input type="text" name="item_quantity" class="input-sm form-control amount"> </div> </td> <td class="td-amount"> <div class="input-group"> <span class="input-group-addon">Price</span> <input type="text" name="item_price" class="input-sm form-control amount"> </div> </td> <td class="td-amount"> <div class="input-group"> <span class="input-group-addon">Item Discount</span> <input type="text" name="item_discount_amount" class="input-sm form-control amount" data-toggle="tooltip" data-placement="bottom" title data-original-title="£ Per Item"> </div> </td> <td class="td-amount"> <div class="input-group"> <span class="input-group-addon">Tax Rate</span> <select name="item_tax_rate_id" class="form-control input-sm"> <?php //this section may update based upon selections but for now We have none echo "<option value='0'>None</option>"; ?> </select> </div> </td> <td class="td-icon text-right td-vert-middle"></td> </tr> <tr> <td class="td-textarea"> <div class="input-group"> <span class="input-group-addon">Description</span> <textarea name="item_description" class="input-sm form-control"></textarea> </div> </td> <td colspan="2" class="td-admount td-vert-middle"> <span>Subtotal</span> <br> <span name="subtotal" class="amount"></span> </td> <td class="td-amount td-vert-middle"> <span>Discount</span> <br> <span name="item_discount_total" class="amount"></span> </td> <td class="td-amount td-vert-middle"> <span>Tax</span> <br> <span name="item_tax_total" class="amount"></span> </td> <td class="td-amount td-vert-middle"> <span>Total</span> <br> <span name="item_total" class="amount"></span> </td> </tr> </tbody> </table> </form> </div> </div> <!-- End of items Tables--> The Save button at the top of the page before the table: <a href="#" class="btn btn-success ajax-loader" id="btn_save_invoice"> And lastly my attempt at the javascript / jquery / ajax: <script type="text/javascript"> $('#btn_save_invoice').click(function () { $('#item_form').validate({ rules: { item_name:{ required: true, message: 'This is required' } }, }); var items = []; var item_order = 1; $('table tbody.item').each(function () { var row = {}; $(this).find('input,select,textarea').each(function () { if ($(this).is(':checkbox')) { row[$(this).attr('name')] = $(this).is(':checked'); } else { row[$(this).attr('name')] = $(this).val(); } }); row['item_order'] = item_order; item_order++; items.push(row); }); $.post("<?php echo url()."Clients/invoice_ajax.php"; ?>", { invoice_id: <?php echo $invoice_id; ?>, invoice_number: $('#invoice_number').val(), invoice_date_created: $('#invoice_date_created').val(), invoice_date_due: $('#invoice_date_due').val(), invoice_status_id: $('#invoice_status_id').val(), invoice_password: $('#invoice_password').val(), items: JSON.stringify(items), invoice_discount_amount: $('#invoice_discount_amount').val(), invoice_discount_percent: $('#invoice_discount_percent').val(), invoice_terms: $('#invoice_terms').val(), custom: $('input[name^=custom]').serializeArray(), payment_method: $('#payment_method').val() }, function (data) { var response = JSON.parse(data); if (response.success == '1') { window.location = "<?php echo url()."Clients/invoice_ajax.php"; ?>/" + <?php echo $invoice_id; ?>; } else { $('#fullpage-loader').hide(); $('.control-group').removeClass('has-error'); $('div.alert[class*="alert-"]').remove(); var resp_errors = response.validation_errors, all_resp_errors = ''; for (var key in resp_errors) { $('#' + key).parent().addClass('has-error'); all_resp_errors += resp_errors[key]; } $('#invoice_form').prepend('<div class="alert alert-danger">' + all_resp_errors + '</div>'); } }); }); </script> Please bare in mind the actual posting section of the form Works perfectly! the only issue is the inputs will not validate before post. here is what the page looks like (i have highlighted the parts that I am referring to in the post: I really am thankful for all the help i get, a huge thank you in advance to anyone who helps with this.
  19. Hey guys, I am looking for someone who can design an audio player that can also play a playlist for a website. The player I am looking for needs certain details. 1) Needs to hide src of file 2) Needs to have controls including attractive progress bar 3) Needs to read from mysql database. I am a bit of a programmer myself so I will be tweaking it but the skeleton must be there. Obviously willing to pay for your time please contact back.
  20. I am retriving records from mysql database that has expiry time limit. The time in the database is saved in "minutes". So for one hour, it'll be "3600" minutes. That's all fine. Now what I am trying to do is create a countdown clock using Javascript/jquery and I have ran into a bit of a problem. 1. I am retriving multiple records from the database that all have a countdown timer. Currently, it's only taking the time value of the first record and using that for all the records. I would like to know how I can make it so that each record will have it's own countdown timer value? 2. Everytime I refresh a page, it will reset the timer. How can I fix this? Here's my code. <?php foreach($rows as $row) { $get_expiry_time = $row['expiry_time']; <div class="record"> <div class="timer"> </div> </div> } ?> <script> $(document).ready(function(){ var countDownTime = <?php echo $get_expiry_time; ?>; function countDownTimer() { var hours = parseInt( countDownTime / 3600 ) % 24; var minutes = parseInt( countDownTime / 60 ) % 60; var seconds = countDownTime % 60; var result = (hours < 10 ? "0" + hours : hours) + ":" + (minutes < 10 ? "0" + minutes : minutes) + ":" + (seconds < 10 ? "0" + seconds : seconds); $('.timer').html(result); if(countDownTime == 0 ){ countDownTime = 60*60*60; } countDownTime = countDownTime - 1; setTimeout(function(){ countDownTimer() }, 1000); } countDownTimer(); }); </script>
  21. I have created a countdown clock that will be counting down from 100 (looping each second). This is the code: <script> $(document).ready(function(){ $("#buttonClick").on('click', function(){ var initialValue = $("#countdown").text(); setInterval(function () { initialValue--; $("#countdown").text(initialValue); }, 1000); }); }); </script> <body> <button id="buttonClick">Click Me</button> <div id="countdown">100</div> </body> When i click the "Click Me" button the number counts down from 100, 99, 98,97.... When try this from a mobile device and while the device is awake, it works just fine. Lets say the counter is on 50 and i press the power button of the mobile device and it sleeps. If i wake the mobile after 40 seconds, i will not see the remaining 10 seconds but something like 40 or 38 seconds. This happens every time and i don't know why. Can someone help? Regards, Christos
  22. Hi I am using the javascript below to carry put an ajax call. $('#tokenfield') .on('tokenfield:createdtoken', function (e) { $.ajax({ url: 'processProduct.php?action=addTag', type: 'post', data: {tag:e.attrs.value ,photo:83}, }); }); .tokenfield({ autocomplete: { source: function (request, response) { jQuery.get("processProduct.php?action=getTags", { query: request.term }, function (data) { data = $.parseJSON(data); response(data); }); }, delay: 100 }, showAutocompleteOnFocus: true }); When the page loads I get the following error in the console yntaxError: expected expression, got '.' [Learn More] index.php:416 the unexpected '.' is the following line .tokenfield({ I am sure that the answer is really simple, but I can't figure it out at the moment, any hepp would be fantastic
  23. I have some routines I use over and over Is there a way to put the error section in a file of its own For example I use a routine below <script type="text/javascript"> $('.MYTRIGGER').live('change', function() { var MyData=''; $("#jq_tab").val('0'); var NameData=$(this).attr('name'); var IdData=$(this).attr('id'); MyData=MyData+'CID='+NameData;; MyData=MyData+'&Field='+IdData; MyData=MyData+'&FieldValue='+$(this).val(); $.ajax( { cache:false, timeout:28000, url : 'MyPhp.php', type : 'post', data : MyData, success : function( resp ) { $("#jq_tab").val('1'); return(false); }, error: function(xhr, status, error) { var stat = $("#jq_tab").val(); $("#main_page_div").unmask_div(); if(stat!='1'){ if (xhr.status === 0) { alert('Unable to connect to Network'); } else if (xhr.status == 404) { alert('Requested page not found. [404]'); } else if (xhr.status == 500) { alert('Internal Server Error [500].'); } else if (exception === 'parsererror') { alert('Requested JSON parse failed.'); } else if (exception === 'timeout') { alert('System Timeout (Internet Congestion or server slow)'); } else if (exception === 'abort') { alert('Ajax request aborted.'); } else { alert('Unspecified Error #' + xhr.responseText); } } return false; } // eof error function }); }); </script> Since the below is common error: function(xhr, status, error) { var stat = $("#jq_tab").val(); $("#main_page_div").unmask_div(); if(stat!='1'){ if (xhr.status === 0) { alert('Unable to connect to Network'); } else if (xhr.status == 404) { alert('Requested page not found. [404]'); } else if (xhr.status == 500) { alert('Internal Server Error [500].'); } else if (exception === 'parsererror') { alert('Requested JSON parse failed.'); } else if (exception === 'timeout') { alert('System Timeout (Internet Congestion or server slow)'); } else if (exception === 'abort') { alert('Ajax request aborted.'); } else { alert('Unspecified Error #' + xhr.responseText); } } return false; } // eof error function Is there a way to store the error function in a common file?
  24. <p>Current Images Inside Gallery <br /> <?php foreach($rows as $row): ?> <div class="t"> <table class="table2"> <tr> <td class="table2"><?php echo $row["id"]; ?></td> </tr> <tr> <td><img src="images/<?php echo $row["photo"] ; ?>" alt="" width="130" height="130" /></td> </tr> <tr> <td><textarea class="js-copyfilename" readonly="readonly" ><?php echo $row["photo"];?></textarea> <button class="js-copyfilenamebtn">Copy Filname</button> </td> </tr> </table> </div> <?php endforeach;?> </div> <script type="text/javascript"> var copyfilenameBtn = document.querySelector('.js-copyfilenamebtn'); copyfilenameBtn.addEventListener('click', function(event) { var copyfilename = document.querySelector('.js-copyfilename'); copyfilename.select(); try { var successful = document.execCommand('copy'); var msg = successful ? 'successful' : 'unsuccessful'; console.log('Copying text command was ' + msg); } catch (err) { console.log('Oops, unable to copy'); } }); </script> I am trying to create a button so the user can copy `$filename` then paste it into a field (this part I will code after this is sorted) I have this code which works but it only works for the first row I understand that I will need array the that this is because I would probably need to array the js-copyfilename and js-copyfilenamebtn classes so each one is different but i know very little about JavaScript so would know where to start Thanks in advance
