Philip
I just stumbled across this site tonight, thought I'd share it because it seems pretty helpful to me: http://www.xenocode.com/Browsers/ It allows you to test your designs in virtual versions of major browsers (right now they have IE 6-8 , FF 1 & 2, Chrome, Opera and Safari.) Anybody else ever used them? Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/153105-testing-designs-in-mulitple-browsers/ Share on other sites
WolfRage
When you said FF 1 & 2, I was like what no FF3? But I see you meant FF 2 & 3, sounds pretty cool. But I don't like having to install there .exe to launch the online app; just because I am currently on work computers with no install rights. I will have to try it out on my personal comp though. Philip
Yeah, my bad, I meant 2+3. Yeah I don't really like it either, but it beats trying the impossible: installing ie 6 Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/153105-testing-designs-in-mulitple-browsers/#findComment-804427 Share on other sites
revraz
Virtual Desktops work great for this stuff too. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/153105-testing-designs-in-mulitple-browsers/#findComment-804499 Share on other sites

Philip
D'oh! Haha, guess that's what I get for not looking on the main site I'm surprised I haven't run into more errors, only issue was a freeze on Opera - but a re-launch did okay. asmith
They are all screenshots, aren't they? Can you actually browse your site with your desired browser? ILMV
Errr, why .exe? Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/153105-testing-designs-in-mulitple-browsers/#findComment-805465 Share on other sites
Daniel0
Errr, why .exe? Because that's the file name extension that's used for executable files on a Windows platform?
