in your css use: form{ margin:0px; padding:0px; } that will get rid of it.

you have WAY too many tables. You should only need 1 table to do all of that.

That is a lot better. let's try a few more things: - make the blue background a pale blue or atleast semi-pale - lighten up the greys a little bit - make those top nav buttons rollovers with the lighter grey ...it's getting there.

Sometime you can...it depends on how the system was set up. I just did it a few hours ago on a XP Home version and I used my Pro disk. Worked ok for me

the recovery console is used to repair system files ONLY, it doesn't do anything to the user's data. hopefully just running the fix on the master boot record will fix the problem

You don't need to re-install it to run the recovery console though. Using an XP pro disk on a Home version will allow you to the recovery console (actually i just did it an hour ago). I think you should start with that before you start re-installing anything.

Sounds like there is a problem with the boot record... Put in your XP pro disk, when it asks you to install [Enter], Repair [R], or exit press R for recovery. When you get all the way through that you should be at a C prompt. Type in "fixboot" (no quotes) then "y", when that finishes type in "fixmbr" then "y". After this completes type in "exit" to reboot the computer. It should now reboot and load windows as it is supposed to. as stated above...I think your actual layout is decent, but you need to change the color scheme around a lot.

So I was just thinking...I think it would be a good idea to make a separate "quote this" board somewhere on the site. It would be where you can put up a project to be "quoted". Others can go on there, submit a "proposal" that they would charge and what that would include with a breakdown of hours and what-not. By doing this you can kinda see what other people would charge, so now you can go back to your client with a better idea about a proposal, breakdown, and hours. Thoughts? Please feel free to shoot this down, but I think it would be kinda cool and it would help a lot of people out.

you can just try re-installing mysql, when you install it I think there is a "modify" or "repair" option...just do one of those and see if it works.
