The Little Guy Posted October 13, 2010 Share Posted October 13, 2010 I am in search for a new laptop, and I would like to know who do you think makes the highest quality laptops? Right now I am kinda against HP, everyone I know who gets one seems to have a problem with it. I have two eMachines (laptop and desktop) and they both have out lasted computers of everyone I know. My desktop still can easily run some of todays new games, and it is 5-6 years old now (after upgrades). I would like to get another eMachine, the only problem is they don't have too big of a selection. So... I would like to know what you guys think some of the top systems are, other than Apple. roopurt18 Posted October 13, 2010 Share Posted October 13, 2010 My last employer bought me a Dell laptop that was really nice. I did work on it for 2 years and enjoyed it very much. I currently have a small Gateway laptop that I also like very much. I have very few gripes about it; mind you I also have very few requirements of it as well. As far as others: I hate Dell, with a burning passion. I've never had a good, fully functioning Dell. Gateway/Acer aren't too bad, same with Toshiba. I have a dell at work that's pretty nice, no problems and I think it's the best bang for you buck as far as hardware.
