  1. Updated minimum characters to 3. http://forums.phpfreaks.com/index.php?app=core&module=search&do=search&search_term=yii
  2. Why does this one not have an "optional" answer, but the others on the same page do? Object Initialiser as in C# $person = new Person(){Firstname='Robert',Lastname='Stoll'}; //Instead of $person = new Person(); $person->setFirstname('Robert'); $person->setLastname('Stoll'); Forgive my ignorance, but isn't that what a constructor is for? Anyways, I agree with Maq. Interesting project, will be cool to see the results.
  3. "php freelance" got me a lot of results, not sure what you were trying Until you get word of mouth, or repeat business, sometimes these are the only ways to go. You could try hitting up local mom & pop shops and convince them to upgrade their website, etc.
  4. Welcome! Hopefully we solved that odd bug of yours

Can you show your HTML too? What browser are you using?
  11. You can follow our status over on github, but as of right now.. it's moving pretty slow.
  12. If you're using the WYISWYG editor, the font is not monospaced - which will make it look completely different from when it is posted using the code tag.
  13. When we transitioned over the new forum we didn't have a good way to allow users to pay for a subscription. However, we're currently working on a new version of the main site + new features on the forums, and one of those features is "paid membership" which is very similar to the previous supporters group... but with some extra goodies In the meantime, donate it to a good cause or open source project.
  14. Unfortunately IPS (the people who make our forum software) decided against making an Android app. Like @Maq said, the forums have a great mobile view though which has been optimized for various mobile devices. The only thing you'd be missing out on is push notifications - in which, I'd suggest just turning on email notifications as those are instant.
  15. Ugh. WTF were they thinking? I'm usually accept change for softwares and praise a lot of them (like facebook.. apparently I was the only one that enjoyed the timeline addition.) But this... is garbage. Things wrong with it (at least on Windows): No margin / padding around the box or menus. I'm accidentally clicking off of the program when I try to click in a hurry (or use my fat finger on my tablet.) For example, look at where the down icon is related to other windows: Laggy if you have a lot of music, especially when the album artwork is in use. I didn't have a problem with this in the last few versions, but it is indeed laggier now. Removal of the side bar. Why? I guess its okay at the top, but I liked having the full bar on the right. The search is trying way too hard now. It's clunky and laggy. Can I not just filter my results in the full window anymore? A minor note, but still one. The new icon looks like shit on the taskbar. Guess thats what we get for not having "retina" displays eh> /rant
  16. There are too many Texans on here to not have an actual party IMO.
