steelmanronald06 1 Posted December 5, 2006 Here is a list of web hosts that offer PHP and MySQL. It is no where near a full list, but it is most popular. I'm locking this so you can't reply. I am pulling this list from the most popular google searches and reviews on a forum who has a board dedicated to reviewing web hosts. http://www.serverpowered.com http://www.webhostfreaks.com http://www.ace-host.net http://www.godaddy.com http://www.web.com http://www.hostway.com/ http://www.1and1.com/ http://www.icdsoft.com/ http://www.site5.com/ http://www.surpasshosting.com http://www.webfusion.co.uk http://emaxhosting.com http://www.100webspace.com/ http://www.startlogic.com Granted it isn't a big list. But there is a variety of price ranges to choose from. This should keep people from posting over and over and over again for web hosts.

phpfreak 2 Posted February 1, 2007 Don't forget that http://www.webhostfreaks.com (Shared Hosting) and http://www.serverpowered.com (Dedicated Servers / Virtual Private Servers / Load Balanced clusters) are owned by The Web Freaks who owns this site and maintains it! DieSonne99 0 Posted June 17, 2007 I've had alot of problems with my previous webhost, after a power outage, all my data got deleted on the server. So i switched and haven't looked back. This company has 1st class support and i can call them anytime and speak to a real person, so definitely give them a try http://www.bluehost.com warmest regards, Daniel

Yesideez 0 Posted July 9, 2007 I'd like to submit Web Once to the list. http://www.webonce.com I use these and they're absolutely great. What I really like about them is that they have live support via IRC where you can talk to their tech guys 24 hours. If no-one is present then you can leave a message and someone gets back to you. They're really cheap and offer great service. I've had very little down time that I've noticed and can honestly say they're better than all the others I've used. amazonas719 0 Posted July 22, 2007 I've had a lot of problems with my previous webhost, after a power outage, all my data got deleted on the server... it was very frustrating, to say the least. I lost valueable business data and when i called them they didn't even have a backup of my data. At first they wanted extra money for restoring the data, but then after i agreed to it, they told me that the data was lost forever. I knew immediatly that i must find a better web host with better service ~and they weren't it! Until then, I didn't realize how important it's to choose a web host. It has had a huge negative impact on my business. There is a good article online how to pick the best web host which taught me what to look for in a web host. Since then i have been very careful about who to choose. I'll always research their business and call them first just to test their customer service and response; and find out what others say about them. Customer service is such a huge part of this business when things go wrong. hope this helps. Shelly.

ober 1 Posted August 21, 2007 All, Please keep in mind that this is NOT a self promotion area. This is about hosts you use or have used and their quality. Further self-promotion will result in action against your account, up to and including banning.
mattison 0 Posted August 22, 2007 i would just like to say, www.extehost.com - is the worst hosting provider i have ever used, please do not use them, there hosting is over priced, minimul, and also it is so laggy that once it took me 1 hour to load up my website, please refrain from using them, for your own good. Barand 1,397 Posted December 1, 2007 Are those recommended from personal experience, or are they to be avoided at any cost? And if the first is that good, why did you switch to the others?

revraz 0 Posted January 8, 2008 http://powweb.com Not bad for under $8/mon. 75 Databases, MySQL 5, PHP 4 and 5 available, good bandwidth and storage, tons of emails, you can edit your own php.ini file for both v4 and v5. DB issues now and then, but for the price, you can't beat it. I wouldn't put a high avail site on it though.
ober 1 Posted January 12, 2008 http://emaxhosting.com was suggested as well.
